Came on a Sunday afternoon and were seated straight away. Had the buffet which was always well stocked and pizza was hot. The children had individual pizzas which they loved and the ice cream after was a bonus. Good price too
This is a great restaurant, and one of the most dependable Italians in the area. The Pizza Express in Staines is surrounded almost entirely by walls of glass, which gives it a classy impression. Indeed, the restaurant is fairly classy, with great service by people that know lots about the food they're serving. I highly recommend the hot dough balls with garlic butter as a starter - they're always lovely! The pizzas are a safe bet, and the lasagna I had last time was great too. I had this with a lovely bottle of chianti riserva. A delicious meal with good service in a nice environment!
Visited Pizza Express Staines on a Sunday afternoon / evening. There is a massive car park so parking wasn't a problem. Shown to our table.. the waitress was very helpful and polite. The food did take a long time to come out but we went to the salad bar. The food was nice and very hot. The drinks were a bit expensive, but all in all a nice place to eat.
Great experience. Classic margarita was awesome. And their strawberry lemonade is my all time favourite 😍
A little slow being welcomed and being seated, so eventually we sat ourselves. Then waited more and eventually got up and got our own menus. But when waiter did arrive, everything was first class and the food as always was amazing..
This restaurant is located next to a small river and the larger part of the dining area has a ceiling to floor window view over the river which provides a very nice setting. Coupled with friendly service and good food it really is one of my favourite places to eat in Staines. Honestly the only criticism I can offer is the bill always ends up sky high howeverbit's probably because it's one of the places I just can't help myself from ordering more than my fair fill.
Great little location for a quick bite to eat good pizza or a fantastic coffee and dessert . Usually quick service except for when it is very busy, but only to be expected as is very popular on wednesday evenings . Often quiet enough though for midweek lunchtimes, busier on the weekend in general. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and
tidy and you can watch the chef prepare the food too if you want to. Also do kids parties and how to make pizza sessions. Overall good value if not a little overpriced on the
alcohol stakes. Recommended
Been to Pizza Express many times - usually love it hence the 4 stars. Most recent visit - the food was good but the service wasn't. Had to move our plates from our starter onto another table because they weren't taken despite prompting. Enjoyed our pizza's and used clubcard vouchers which made it cheaper 👌
For me, Pizza Express really seemed to lose its way a few years ago. Their restaurants always used to be busy, and everything seemed a bit special, but suddenly it lost that certain something it had, and now whenever I pass a restaurant they always seem to be empty. The food too always seemed lacking when I've visited over the last few years, so it was with some apprehension that I called into the Staines branch last week.
Surprisingly I really enjoyed it! The staff were really helpful. I was struggling to choose between three pizzas, and the waitress I saw recommended one to me which turned out to be delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and my bruschetta too, and now I feel sure I'll give Pizza Express another go when I'm away on business.
Middle class McDonalds really - but good all the same - good value and tasty pizzas and great salads - lots of options and generally very consistent. Good quality - usually very busy - which is always a good sign. It doesn't take too long to wait if a table isn't available when you turn up. lovely mini dessert and coffee option available too.
Really good food and fantastic service. Hadn't been there in years but will definitely be going back soon. A little more expensive than "the other lot" but well worth it. Parking easy as there is a pay & display opposite that's only £1.20 for the evening after 7.30pm.
Me and my partner visit the restaurant a lot. The manager Nadia and her team are brilliant. Ernesto and Kash have been our waiters / waitress and we were really happy with the service. 👍
