The food is typical Harvester and of good quality. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Seating and service is great. The only negative is the atmosphere which is probably down to the town centre location, noisy and more like a canteen. The atmosphere is very much a personal viewpoint and so I fully recommend this as a place to dine.
I've usually had great food and service here, although I found it went downhill a few years ago, but that was a blip. More recently all has been good and the food and service excellent, for the price.
It can be very busy, especially when vouchers and special offers are available on the app and via emails, but in the occasion of this review it was extremely quiet. I was lucky enough to win a free burger via the Harvester app (had to pay 99p for the chips that came with the meal) and pay for my usual drinks and dessert, but it was a good bargain not to be missed. All very tasty and well cooked, with excellent friendly service.
Tasty dinner. Food was on top form tonight. Chicken Dinners were tasty. Went early evening, nice and quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Our waiter Chris was lovely, friendly, funny and helpful, gave us advice on our Dinners and was patience with us, lovely service from Chris.
Cooki Chaos Sundae is a must have, lots of cookie dough and ice cream is tasty.

Just had a quick dinner here with my husband. Food was amazing. The service we received from Chris was very pleasant and attentive, massive thanks to him for looking after us. The Manager Natalie is a very lovely person and very kind to us. I’ve used this Harvester on several occasions and I’ve always had a good experience here. Will definitely go back.
Amazing service and amazing food! Chris was our server for the evening, and he was one of the best we've had out of all the places we visited! Would definitely recommend it!
Nice welcome when we arrived. Food and drinks came promptly and with a smile. Little more attention to cleaning table surfaces properly. Either they are using the wrong product or not enough as table tops were sticky. Our waitress was friendly and went above and beyond to make our visit special. Food was lovely and arrived hot.
We visited on a very busy Friday evening. On arrival our pre-booked table was ready. We were warned of a long wait for food as the kitchen was very busy. We could see the kitchen staff working very hard all evening both to cook and keep the salad bar clean and topped up with a huge number of people ransacking it.
Our server was Jack who remained extremely calm and professional despite having a group of particularly whiny ladies doing their very best to try and break him. Yes it was busy, yes food was slow, yes I've had better food here. Despite the wait for food (just under an hour), it was still a pleasant visit and the staff were excellent.
Our server was attentive, friendly, polite, and patient. she re-cleaned the table when i mentioned it was sticky. I think the floor area needs a good steam clean and perhaps the tables do too. as the whole area where we sat was sticky. the food and the salad was very nicely presented and well cooked
A reasonably good Harvester conveniently located in the main shopping area. The food was good and the service prompt. Two areas for improvement; the tables were sticky from previous use and the sauces by the bread rolls were in a messy state and only two were labelled. Small things but important.
The waiting staff here are so accommodating and really do make this restaurant. We had 5 kids with us and the staff were very friendly and understanding with the noise our children created. Thank you very much.
A wonderful lunch absolutely delicious food, great service from start to finish our wonderful waitress Sara was so helpful, warm and friendly.

Great hospitality by the waitress. The food was very tasty, chips slightly cold. Nice atmosphere and despite been busy we didn't have to wait too long for the food. It was great. I'll definitely recommend.
