Love this place. Would definitely recommend. Only a few parking spaces, but plenty a short walk away. Staff are always super friendly. Their chips are good, and special sauce one of my favourite.

Seen this lovely looking Wimpy whilst I was in the area and thought why not treat myself to a nice burger. I got a double cheese burger meal this was very tasty and cost me £8.15 I upgraded my drink to a banana milkshake for an extra 50p this was so delicious and was like a meal in itself so filling. I also got 8 onion rings for £2.10 these were nice but wasn't the best onion rings I've ever tasted. The restaurant was lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly I'd recommend calling in for the shakes I think If I was in the area again I would go for a chicken burger next time though.

I was working that part of the county, so I decided to finally try Wimpy.... The staff are polite and friendly, the food is absolutely delicious.

Lovely staff, lovely food and great prices sum up this little establishment. I’d deffo advise trying the ‘whips’ of ice cream they do here - you get loads of ice cream for your money.

Staff are lovely. Simply the best fast food, always has been. Just wish there was somewhere to park the truck and trailer and I’d be in every night.

After a decision to hunt down one of the last surviving Wimpy outlets in the Midlands, we landed at 12:15 on Wednesday 18th October 2023. For me, I had known of the Wimpy Bar's existence for many years, since our parents took my sister and I as kids, to Milford Common on an occasional Sunday afternoon. However, we had never visited, and my last Wimpy Experience occurred at their Birmingham Corporation Street Branch in March 1982. On arrival, the popularity of the venue was undeniable: a steady queue of customers and a slight wait to gain access to one of four parking bays available. I couldn't recall the original arrangement but today's premises offers outside seating and a covered area adjacent to the main building - everything is now 'counters service' and 'Post-Covid' has retained security screens which arguably may have already been in place well beforehand. Staff are helpful and very personable: the lady serving me explained that this particular site celebrates its 60th Anniversary of operations in 2024 - and I can see why. The food was delicious and plentiful - no 'fries' with a meal, genuine chips with optional salt and vinegar sachets included - and a quick request for Ketchup glady granted. For an older operation, the food quality is streets ahead of comparable McDonalds offerings and although more expensive, passes with flying colours based upon the argument of 'what you pay is what you get.' It's gimmick-free too, so you can get on with enjoying your meal instead of being distracted by the latest banal offering pf 'Online Monopoly' or whatever other diversion exists to take your focus away from the crud you have just purchased from a lesser competitor. I've not mentioned Burger King until now: a large number of former 'Counter Service' Wimpy Bars passed to the same chain in the early 1990s and in hindsight, this too was a retrogressive move: despite BK generally being regarded as an improvement over 'Maccies', even their best doesn't emulate the 'Wimpy' of yesteryear. The next trip to a Wimpy Bar will be a mission - a trip to Shrewsbury to experience and capture the table service standard long since lost to high-speed catering's 'Factory Farming' methods

Had a wimpy for dinner to eat on the Chase, was well cooked and yummy! Just a little shame theres not many parking spaces outside it, should be able to use some of the carpark of the Barley mow! :(

I've been visiting this wimpy for I think for nearly 60 years and decided to call in yesterday. Still as good as ever. Delicious freshly cooked. Far better than other burger chains.

Food was really good , and the waiting isn't too bad as it's cooked to order . Prices are a bit to high though. Other than that definitely recommend going for a meal if you are in the area.

Called in on the way back from visiting, what a great place, the service was very good from the lady. Large choice of food, and it was piping hot, everything was in the bag we ordered. Would highly recommend a visit.

Best mock chicken burger I've had! Bought a special sauce bottle too. Will try cheese next time.

So good I sprinted there. Tastes better than McDonalds. Great service from the staff. Well kitted out for COVID. Can't be missed. The Mrs caught me running to Wimpy for a burger (see attached video). If we lived closer to this, we'd be there far too often for our own good!

Can’t beat a cooked on demand Hamburger 🍔 from this little burger bar. Plenty of outdoor and under cover seating but only 3/4 parking slots where you have to reverse out back on to the road 5 stars if it weren’t for this. Food is lovely but it’s not fast food so be prepared to wait until it’s cooked, however it’s worth it.
