Love this place. Came here a few weeks ago with one of my dogs unfortunately he was a bit of a stress head and couldn't stay although staff were lovely a bit it. Came back today with my other boy buster and stopped for a drink and a quick bite food was lovely and drinks and the customer service was ace all friendly and a lady went and got some treats and water for my boy. Can not fault the place it's truly unique.
My first visit here today and I love it! I absolutely love the decor. We could tell straight away that the place would be good as it was full and only had one table available! The staff were extremely friendly especially Fran and Ali. Our food arrived quickly despite it being busy and when it came we were amazed by the presentation and especially happy with the taste! We then had a vegan chocolate and ginger torte which was also amazing. Keep up the good work, will definitely be back as it’s so hard to find a way place with good vegan food. Thank you �
Finally got to visit and I was not disappointed, the coffee was really nice and the mushroom and bacon soup was delicious, best soup I've had for a very long time. I'm really impressed by the range of food on offer for vegans and people who require gluten free, and I'll definitely sample one of the cocktails next time I'm in. The waitress was also exceptionally helpful regarding a special Christmas booking, she made my day �
I was in Stafford at lunchtime week and wandered around in dread looking for vegan food, came across Verso and was delighted to see an entire page of vegan starters, mains and deserts - Not just the one choice normally found! All sounded delicious and I was very impressed with my choice of wrap, even had vegan coleslaw on the used. Well done Verso, great to see bars catering properly for vegans!
F ab place nice to have something a bit different in Stafford. Lovely decor, style and food. Huge selection of home made soft drinks too.
Lovely little place, we will be back! Great cocktails, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, plus the tapas was lovely. Can’t wait to come try the breakfast.

First time in Verso Lounge and this place is definitely gonna stay one top of my list of Restaurants to visit again in Stafford! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing choice of food and drinks. The Bang bang chicken is to die for! The place also offers a wide range of options for all the Vegan folks out there. The amount of thought and effort that has been put into the décor and the menu is commendable. We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch here and would love to visit the place again soon.

Very busy, but then clearly it's popular. We had a nice meal. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Good selection of drinks.
My little family and I love it here. We visit fairly regularly, usually for breakfast and its got such a lovely, laid back atmosphere, toys and games for the kids and a truly fantastic colouring page. We recently went with friends, three adults and four children altogether. We sort of overwhelmed the middle area of the cafe, with buggies, high chairs, toys and a toddler who has just found his feet and wanted to walk everywhere. Some places would have been less than thrilled to have such an intrusive party, but the staff there were lovely about it, navigating around the children easily without making us feel unwelcome. Great place to meet up with friends and family and the food is divine!
The evening was spent catching up with family, the food and atmosphere was lovely and every member of staff had a smile. Unfortunately my partner became unwell and thankfully she recovered later that evening. The response and care shown by the staff was lovely, even phoning up the next morning to check how we were. We thank you all xxx
Loved the food here, nice options for everyone for a good price. The atmosphere and service are very good. The big windows are a plus in sunny days. Ps: blankets available if you want to stay outside, also water and treats for dogs. <3
Authentic, cozy and beautiful place. Great location, friendly staff. There are special tables for kids to draw, books to read for adults, I could see some people were using their laptops for work. Lovely and free atmosphere.
First time I tried bergamot and honey cake , and I can tell, it was made in heaven ! I definitely will visit again.
Our food was really nice, it was a Sunday evening and pretty quiet which we didn't mind. We had previously been to Anatolian Palace who told me on the phone when I booked that they had 2 vegan dishes. They didn't. Verso does and they make it very tasty.
Nice place, food especially tapas can vary on visits with presentation and taste. Overall a very comfortable place to have a drink or a meal.

If you go to Verso you can not go wrong. It is a beautifully decorated place with delicious food for every occasion. We had been there before for tea and some churros, o in other occasions for burgers but this time for some of the more elaborated mains.
I would really recommend and surely come back.
Verso has been my go-to place in Stafford for quite a few years. It's got a vibrant atmosphere both during the day and the evening. Very varied menu with something for everyone. I particularly enjoy brunch and latte during the day and tapas with a glass of two of their very lovely Rosé when we visit in the evening. Service is always spot on.
Nice little place. The food was really good, I can't actually remember what I had 🤔 but I do remember the pudding. It was a lovely chocolate brownie cake, which was 10/10. Wasn't too much choice on the menu. The only niggle was the air con was on and it was absolutely freezing.
Whenever anyone suggests a meal out, I always hope it’s Verso! The food is fab, there’s a great atmosphere and the staff are always really friendly. There is a separate vegetarian/vegan menu and usually some very good dogs to meet. What’s not to love?

Good food with an additional vegan menu.
Rustic style interior with old paintings covering the walls and lampshades on lights that make for calm lighting.
There is a mix of music at a reasonable volume. Glass windows fill half the interior, so lots of lovely natural light.
There is plenty of outside seating, although we've not used this yet. A variety of styles of seating inside with wooden tables.
You don't need to make a reservation that hasn't yet caused a problem.
They do fab coffee, cocktails & mocktails and a free to use water dispenser with stacked glasses
It's in a accessible location right by the library, shopping centre & car park, with wheelchair access (front door & dining is at ground level)
Friendly and helpful staff
So easy to order and pay at the table using the scanner app. Drinks appear very quickly once ordered. Food is very good. Highly recommend the souvlaki flatbread if you like a taste of Greek food.
The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. Food is very good.

Delicious food and great vegan menu available. The staff were lovely and attentive, and the facilities were clean. Also accessible for those with disabilities. Visited twice in two days, and will visit again!
