Great meal today here and reasonably priced. The starter was to die for and had an impromptu master class in floater coffee making. Would recommend.

We ate here after going to Shugborough Estate. We didn't have a booking but we were able to eat as a table of 6.
The food selection was very good and they had a varied range of ales and wines. Dogs are welcomed with their own beer barrel full of water at the entrance. There is outside seating with blankets available if the weather drops cooler. Plenty of parking make this easy pub to pop in to and refresh.
Visited here for lunch whilst on a walk along the canal and into Cannock Chase. It's right by a busy roundabout and main roads which meant sitting outside was noisy so we went inside where they have lots of tables. Good selection of beers and cider etc and lots to choose from on the menu including gluten free options. It was busy on the April weekday lunchtime we went so we had to wait a while for our meals to arrive but it was worth it as they were excellent.
Never eaten here before. We were greeted by Nat who was so lovely. We only scored 4 on the food as the crumble needed a bit more crumble on top and a bit sweeter. But the main meal was lush. Nat is an asset to the pub, very friendly and chatty. We will be back. Mr & Mrs Cox
Went on Saturday night, nice atmosphere, good selection of food. I had the sticky chicken starter and sea bass main, both tasted great. Served by Hazel who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Service was spot on and will definitely be back.
Great food and atmosphere. We booked for special family occasion. Staff was working so hard and you could see they were understaffed on our evening of visit, but hey who isn't nowadays? Patience and good wine was definitely a time killer for us. And it was worth to wait as food was just amazing. We will definitely be back soon!

The staff lily, Ali, Nat and Katie go above and beyond to make sure you have the greatest possible experience at the Wolseley Arms. Highly recommended, especially as there dog friendly. Myself and Gin my labrador will be visiting again.
Had a good 3 course meal today. 4 of us and a dog in the bar area. Food options and quality were good. Warm and comfortable with a log fire. Looking forward to going back.
This pub is everything you could wish for. The venue itself is gorgeous set in the country with plenty of space. The staff are all really helpful and friendly and the food is out of this world. From the starters to main onto desert everything was exquisitely delicious. If we ever end up back in this part of the world will definitely be back!

Absolutely delightful pub. Dog friendly, open fire, pleasant staff, delicious food. Totally recommend. We moored our canal boat up and walked here with 5 kids and a dog. Loved it.
Really tasty food and drink in a lovely pub that has a great vibe. Our server who was working opposite the bar and not one of the young girls was really attentive and helpful to our experience that made us all want to come back and spend more time. She took the time to make sure we were satisfied throughout the visit and helped us with all issues like asking for steak knives and dealing with the only concern we had throughout our visit. It's really nice to see a restaurant ask about any allergies.
First time visiting in over 10 years. First impressions were very good, loved the decor.
To start I had the duck parfait and ham hock terrine which was a solid 10/10. For main I had the fish and chips which wasn’t a stand out but still nice. Very impressed with the ‘mini desert’ option with a coffee! Big thanks to Charlie our waitress who was very attention and didn’t stop smiling. Will definitely visit again.
After weeks of driving by travelling home from work and smelling the amazing food I decided enough was enough. I booked in for myself and the wife. The food lived up to the smell and was absolutely delicious. A very warming welcome and very professional staff members. I will be booking in again and would highly recommend visiting. Booked a table for 4 people for Sunday lunch & had a wonderful meal with excellent service from Karen! We had a roast turkey, lamb rump & trio of roasts, all served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, plenty of vegetables with as much gravy as you wanted. All so good! Creme brulee finished the meal off 😀👍
