Went with 25 family and friends last night for a surprise 50th birthday meal amd what a fantastic night. All staff in on the surprise and joined in, they were so warm and friendly. All food was delivered at same time and was hot and sublime. Hats off to the chef, waiters for managing to achieve this. Would recommend The Mill to anyone, thank you team you made a night to remember with my family and friends

We attended a wedding. The food, staff, service all excellent. My hubby is celiac & they made him lots of gluten free food, it was all tasty and he was happy. Thank you

We absolutely love this place, we got married here in September but food is also amazing, the staff are friendly, it is a stunning place, not only in the summer but also in the winter sat by the fire!

Absolutely amazing! My work to us for lunch and I can't believe I've never been!!! Told my wife I'm going to take her, I have fallen in love with this place! It's historic and beautiful! The staff are brilliant and the food was unbelievable! My gammon filled my plate and the chips came on their own plate!!! Stunning!!!

Nice country pub and large outside garden with swings and grounds to explore for kids. Food was good and plenty of it. Sat outside in the sun but choose your seat wisely due to the vast number of trees around. It’s right next to a main line railway so expect some rumbling close by. Staff at the bar quick to serve and friendly overall worth Carpark parking lines are weird , not easy to park and a bit tight to opposing rows

First time I'd been here and as I live not all that far, I couldn't believe we'd not visited before. Beautiful pub and setting. We sat in the restaurant, which was lovely, but I think we will go for the bar next time as it looked super cosy. Food was great and the staff were really friendly. Great area outside, next to the river, to sit out and have a few drinks in the summer too.

I stopped here for lunch and was not disappointed this old mill house which is steeped in history where many of the old mill parts are still cleverly displayed . I opted for the steak pie option on the well laid out menu with a soft drink as I still had part of my journey to travel ."Very Tasty indeed " The bar person who served me was smartly dressed, very polite and even after she served my meal enquired to make sure I was enjoying the plate of food that was delivered . The playlist that was on throughout my stay was great.with a selection of songs that catered for all genre. The Mill was very clean, toilets were spotless . The bottom line. I'm glad I stopped at the Mill for lunch it was BRAW.

Stopped here for some lunch after a little day out, and what a lovely place! Has a really comfortable, historical pub atmosphere, just cosy when you walk in, despite being a decent size place with a good size family beer garden. The food selection is decent and you get really good value for money and good quality food. The staff are all really friendly and polite. Would love to try again for an evening meal. Just an all-round really lovely place!

What a fantastic breakfast we’ve had here this morning. Freshly cooked, quick service and the spring onion and potato pancakes with bacon and eggs was delicious. David who waited on was friendly and it was a lovely hot day so we ate in the beer garden. Will definitely return. Great prices and great atmosphere.

What a lovely meal and a lovely restaurant. Julie and Grace could not have been anymore helpful, with excellent service and going above and beyond. I will definitely be coming back, and definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone

Brilliant place, especially for a function. They hosted my wife's 30th birthday and I can honestly say nothing was to much for them. Julie kept us informed of everything and made sure we were having a good time throughout the whole night. The function room at the back is literally a hidden gem. I would 100% well recommend this venue for a function and will no doubt be using it again for another family function. Thank you Julie! Brilliant service!

Had a breakfast here for fathers day and it was amazing! We actually couldn't eat it all!! We had quite a long wait as unbeknown to us our order had been lost. After an hour I asked, I knew they were busy so didn't want to harrass them. They couldn't have been more apologetic and we got our meal free 😚 Lovely pub in an old mill. We will definitely be going back again!
