I’ve tried many curry houses in the Staffordshire area and without a doubt the Shimla is the best by a country mile. The food is fantastic, the service is even better. Brilliant welcome by all the lads there and it’s half the reason we go so regularly. Menu is varied and dishes are flavoursome. Love
A wonderful Bangladeshi restaurant. The service is excellent, with staff be efficient and welcoming whilst also being knowledgeable about the extensive menu. The food is delicious and portions are large. It is in easy walking distance from bridge 70 on the Trent and Mersey canal.
Dined in with family and friends Saturday evening for the first time. Really enjoyed it. Food was perfect and friendly helpful service. Will be returning.
An excellent place (palace) to visit at reasonable prices with very helpful staff. The Cobra glasses are very decorative.

Wanted to give them a five, we had the best experience at the Shimla this evening. The food was excellent and worthy of 5*, which is why we go back. The service was far better than previous visits but maybe room for improvement, won't go into details, I don't want to be labelled 'picky'.The staff
Staff at Shimla are so kind and attentive! We had a brilliant evening in there celebrating a birthday, they supplied a cake, sparklers, banners and a sing song! Would recommend

Shimla Palace is fabulous and licensed restaurant that we frequently go to for delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant if you love a authentic and well prepared curry’s, with a excellent service and fun friendly staff that make you feel very welcome.
