Had a bit of a mare when booking, Provenance Inns were plenty quick to have me join their organisation for marketing purposes even before confirming the booking.

Stayed overnight here for a special birthday celebration. Had a lovely 3 course meal which was exceptional, and plenty of wine! Served in a small cosy, private room.
The barstaff/waitresses were really good, no pressure to drink up or rushed with the courses and we had good banter with the bar staff
Held our wedding here in April. It went so smoothly and everyone said that the staff could not have been mors helpful. Food was delicious and plentiful, and the wine suggestions complemented the food perfectly. We used all the bedrooms and our guests were delighted.
I would like to say what a beautiful place staff couldn't do enough to help us all,well organised, can't remember the owner name he was so lovely nothing was too much trouble would like to thank him keep up with the fantastic work you do 💯 my friend wedding was a night I'll never forget..
Great Sunday lunch in the snug with our dog. 3 courses with cocktails - all lovely. We had to have our mains exchanged as they could have been hotter but all was sorted very quickly and the staff were lovely too. Thinking of returning for afternoon tea when fingers crossed the fires will be lit too.
Nice venue for a family meal. Good quality of food but service is a little slow. However goes on my blacklist for issuing gift cards with no expiry date shown and not allowing them to be extended - please note they are only valid for one year then they will just pocket your money!
