Surpassed all expectations. Top notch food: we had the Slaughterhouse burger, Thai spiced mussels and kids’ macaroni cheese, plus three drinks. You could taste the quality. A lively bar/restaurant in a quirky interesting building. Seemably one of the most popular Saturday venues in St Peter Port. We had burgers, meat was of great quality, deep flavour, although let down by some overly thin and boring fries. Drinks menu vast with a range of ales spirits etc. Raised area
Ribs were a decent size for £16. Perhaps need a little more sauce and coleslaw for some moisture as they were a tad dry for my personal preference. I'd happily have them again though. Good chips too.
The place is nice with the hanging stuff used for the slaughter and good service from the staff but I was disappointed with the steak. I asked for medium rare but I got almost well done ☹️ but I love the fries though. It’s crunchy.

Giving 4 stars for food since I'm used to spicy and strong flavours and the cod burger was comparatively less chatpata. However the portion size and taste were good. They had a range of mocktails and passion fruit mojito was really good as well.

Service was really good, attentive with drinks and when our main course order was delayed as the initial order didn't get sent through to the kitchen, the waitress came and told us (we hadn't noticed it was delayed as we'd not long finished our starters).
