First time visiting this particular JDW. Nice atmosphere, our food (beef madras) was well cooked in fact it tasted like an authentic takeaway Indian curry. Choice of beers is very good and the prices favourable. Staff were polite and efficient and I'm sure we will definitely been visiting again in the future.

Couldn't stay for long due to work commitments. Enjoyed a coffee and biscuits to go for £1.95 on my first visit to this one. Consistent value for money brand

Excellent Spoons and so cheap.Trad brekkie £3.14 & coffee £1.02. Amazing. The lady in charge is brilliant but unfortunately is on her own so it's inevitably slow to order but quick to arrive.

Compliments to the extremely hard working staff ...popped in for an impromptu lunch, food great & drinks, all served efficiently from a real friendly bunch of staff who are clearly hardworking & willing to please - thank you

The food was great, but I still think it is ludicrous that someone comes a dumps an empty cup on your table, and then you have to get up and walk to a very busy tea machine to make your own tea. That is the only reason I don't use Wetherspoons more often.

Enjoyed a relaxed lunch with family at The Weeping Ash this week, good food, speedily provided, good prices and friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Having read earlier some less than positive reviews, we were all pleasantly surprised to have such a positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend or come again ourseslves. Thank you to all the helpful staff.

Good spoons but it seems very under staffed if you going to the bar for drinks instead of table service you will be in for a long wait if you are 3rd or over in line

I have been to the Weeping Ash on quite a few occasions, for a meal and for a drink. The food has always been good, and normally comes out of the kitchen fairly quickly. Even though I have heard people complaining that they have been waiting too long. But with the place packed, the kitchen staff do very well. The prices are exceptionally good. I purchased 2 pints of cider, and thought I only got charged for one. The prices are almost half the price of most pubs. The bar and seating areas are always kept clean and tidy. With a happy and welcoming atmosphere, the staff do look after you the best that they can. If you haven't eaten here before, then it's definitely worth trying.
