Cannot fault the food or service, as this was my last night on the island I decided to have a treat and pre-ordered the half lobster and fries for take away. The ordering process was seamless and efficient. I arrived a few minutes early and it was ready exactly at my selected pick up time. Staff were friendly and professional throughout.
I shall be ordering from here again next time I am on the island that is for sure.
This is essentially a pub with food and quirky seating not necessarily designed for eating. Take a seat and a waiter will take your order and if it is not too busy you will not wait too long. Food is well cooked and presented. Seems to be less busy after 9pm.
A place to go back every year and you feel very happy to try a new flavour. This time,it was the amazing charcoal grilled lobster 🦞 with garlic & butter, wonderful fish taco with avocado & mango, salt & pepper squid and yummy desserts! Warm Belgian waffle with caramelised banana, cream, butterscotch sauce & chocolate straw. Warm chocolate orange pudding with ice cream. Lovely staff, wonderful Chef 👩🍳
Amazing service and food. Had the whole lobster with chips to share. Absolutely delicious. Bottle of sauvignon blanc and a white Russian and mojito finished the night off. Lovely sun set over the beach gave some lovely views during our meal. Highly recommended. Make sure you book!
I thought £18 for what was essentially fish and chips a bit steep. Bit this was Cornish hake and it was excellent, presented in a zingy batter, with perfect chips, and with tasty sauce. Good dessert of Belgian caramel waffle. Excellent wine! Fantastic service. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
Fantastic. Lovely welcome from the 2 ladies on that evening. Service was quick but very relaxed.
The hake fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce was delicious.
Washed down with a very scrumptious rose.
Desert of lemon cheesecake went down very well too.
Lovely evening meal , just what we needed after only landing at 5.40pm.
Great start to our week on the breath takingly beautiful Isles of Scilly .

Best food and service. The food really is superb with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are super good at there job and knowledgeable. Highly recommended there dirty chips and lobster roll.
Amazing food, and a short walk from harbour, we had the half lobsters which was cooked to perfection
We ate here as a family and were all impressed with the food. We have varying requirements, one of us is vegetarian. I ate the lobster, a first for me, it was delicious! The food was tasty and carefully presented and the chocolate orange pudding appeared homemade - hurrah!
The staff were all delightful. Big shout out to the very friendly and helpful Milly and the other young woman who helped us when we first arrived.
Make sure you book well in advance and it is worth paying the extra for the decent quality that is offered.
