Popped in for Sunday lunch! Food was delicious! Beef and the pork was done perfectly! Plenty of veg. And the portions were very generous. Plenty of food and drink options And the Bourne Valley Inn was a beautiful place, very rustic! With plenty of country charm. Staff was very helpful. And dogs are welcome.

Beautiful location and accommodation. Staff very polite and welcoming, food fantastic, best steak I've had in a long time. Fast and pleasant service for both food and drink. Very well thought out beer garden with loads of seating. I have only given four star for the room as towel rail missing in bathroom, one end still fastened to the wall, exterior paintwork needs a touch up as badly peeling from windows. An overall very pleasant and relaxing stay.

What a beautiful little gem we found on Saturday! Not only is it a lovely pub with a great family friendly garden, the food is fantastic too. I chose the Trout fish cakes with watercress sauce, spring onions and poached eggs! Simply divine! The staff also told me how the fish is sourced direct from the chalk stream outside! Can’t wait to return and might even book a room so we can enjoy the area too! My new favourite country pub/restaurant

Absolutely lovely. The seating space outside is vast, pretty and comfortable and inside is even better. We arrived just after 8pm on our way from Cornwall to London having found the BVI online and decided on it for dinner. We were seated quickly and with no issue by the absolutely great and friendly young staff who were so welcoming to us and our dog. Despite the kitchen taking last orders at 8.30pm we were able to have an absolutely delicious and outstanding value three course meal. Everything was perfectly cooked and the faggots were especially good. Couldn't fault anything really. I hope we have cause to come back this way soon.

This was a great place for Sunday lunch. The setting is pretty, the food was excellent - portions, quality and choice, all top notch. The service was friendly and welcoming. The pub interior is charming, yet spacious and well laid out with lots of natural light. We couldn't have picked a better place, thank you. My only concern about posting a 5 star review is that the place will get swarmed and it will be harder to book!

Lovely setting with a great garden area. Inside was nice, comfy bar area and great dining area in the ' barn,'. The food was ok, nice breakfast. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The staff, bar and cleaning staff, were helpful and friendly. The only negatives were the windows which need a good tidy up / paint, the noisy plumbing from the rooms and the wardrobe area had bare wood edges that maybe could have been finished a bit better. But apart from that, a good stay.

Great place to stay and eat. Some lovely vegan options which helped us decide to stay here. Staff were wonderful and welcoming. Only downside is if you are in a downstairs room the rooms above are very noisy, so if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs or drink all the tasty cocktails like we did

Delicious Dinner, Full English Breakfast outstanding, and very comfortable pillows on bed! We just stopped overnight after attending a lunch party nearby, and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for looking after us.

Had a lovely meal at Bourne Valley today, the batter on both the onion rings and fish was so light and crispy! The apple and blackberry crumble was also delicious. Will definitely be returning 👍
