The Island Bakery - St Martin's - Photo album

I loved the warm £6 pasty. It was great for a walking and beach lunch. It is a really sweet island bakery. Well worth a visit. The bread rolls are really really tasty too. Very nice local business.
Had a lovely takeaway lunch of pastie (£6 for a large one) and crab sandwich (£9). Recommend arriving as close to midday as possible - on a sunny May Day, by 12.30pm the queue was long and the quantities low!
Great food pasty was very good and so was the lemonade, the bread also looked nice.
Pleasant, friendly staff. Good selection of hot goodies. Would recommend the small pasty - one of the tastiest I've had & just the right size to bridge the gap between breakfast & dinner
Great fresh produce, I would highly recommend the Bakery. I guess some might like more choice but I favour quality over range, after all this is a small island caterer and not, thank goodness, a chain store. Add to that the fantastic setting.
Place is fantastic. Incredible sandwiches - best on Scilly. Great bread, great service. Disappointed by the pizza - too thick and base was more like a pastry.
It was my first visit to the IOS and I had never tasted lobster. The bakery served a lobster roll which exceeded all my expectations of what lobster should taste like. It was crammed with lobster meat and not expensive given how much lobsters are today. Didn’t see anything of the Basil Fawlty charac
Great little bakery tucked away on St Martin's at the Highertown end. Cakes, sandwiches, pasties, sausage rolls and you can also get a coffee and sit out on the tables outside. Sparrows here love the cake crumbs and will eat out of your hand. Always worth a visit if you are on St Martin's.
Really good service. Great bread. I would have liked a better choice of sandwich and some decent coffee
Lovely selection of cakes. Friendly staff.
Lovely cake and tea, well placed in the center of Higher town.St Martin's, Isles of Scilly. Visited in October, so not much open but The Bakery were doing a roaring trade. watch out for the sweet but marauding Scilly sparrows.
Barney is a top geezer, and he always strives for fresh produce. The pasties in particular are to die for, and even though I don't drink fizzy drinks (anymore) normally I make a small exception for their lemonade, it's that good, and the cakes are so good I often struggle making up my mind after my
Friendly staff, excellent choice and good value for money. Well worth a visit.
Picked up some lovely pastys and bread on our visit to the island!
Tasty bread and cakes. They also do pasties and pizzas, although can't comment on those as not had them yet.
Delightful goodies and lovely staff. Tables outside for takeaway teas and coffees. Inquisitive very tame sparrows keen for a taste of whatever you're eating!
