Pubs don’t normally do great food, and we find it hard to find good decent family meals in Hastings (if I’m honest)
However, The Welcome have smashed it.

A lovely place to eat, who were very accommodating to replace all dairy filled items with vegan ones. Very reasonably priced.
We had our wedding reception here. The staff are absolutely outstanding, waiting times to be served are so quick and with a smile. Went out for a dinner with my partner earlier on and have had a fab experience. greeted by staff nicely, who were all quite young but were very professional, starters came out within about 5 minutes, and mains were given out 20 minutes after ordering (mains and starters). Fantastic meal and freindly service.
A Saturday evening meal with my wife and two young children. All of us loved the food and really nice atmosphere to take the family for a great quality meal. Very highly recommend.

We had the welcome burger that was absolutely amazing all handmade and so tasty will definitely be back again only thing that let it down was the desert looked amazing but very dry as all the deserts are gluten free.
Excellent community pub. A great selection or drinks, high quality food and a the staff are always very welcoming. There is a beautiful garden out the back and parking on site. Disability friendly. I host all my charity events here.

Such a lovely pub, with fantastic food! The name ‘the welcome’ sums the pub up as that is exactly how you are made to feel! The staff are so lovely! I moved to st Leonard’s from tunbridge wells 2 years ago the staff have made me feel so at home here not knowing anyone ! I couldn’t recommend this pub

The food was very good, I would say outstanding and the service very quick. All the staff were very friendly.
The only downside I found was that there wasn't any access to a disabled toilet.

Lovely menu ! Lovely staff. Beautiful decor. Relaxing atmosphere highly recommend this pub! Do not try the tower down the road. Like the jockey out of shameless.
