Stopped in for a coffee stop while walking along the promenade. Cappuccino was excellent, Latte was great and Babychino passed the baby test. Grabbed an almond croissant as a sweet treat which was delightful. The food coming out the counter all looked great and the trendy vibe suggests it is a very popular spot. Would recommend if along the beach front

Sunset. Paella. Deck Chair. Sea views. Blue skies. Live music (acoustic guitar). What's not to love?! Thank you Goat Ledge for gifting me the most wonderfully spontaneous evening soaking up some coastal vibes in the burning embers of summer 2023.... 🌞

Great place to grab drinks and a nibble on the beach - especially on a Sunday evening when everything is closed! We had the fish finger bap, crispy classic sandwich, and the katsu fries to share - it hit the spot perfectly! We'll be coming back to try some mocktails

Great place to sit on the beach for meals, drinks etc. Colourful, music playing all types of seating including deck chairs and huts. Very nice sunrise bap breakfast today but only came wrapped in paper which was getting blown all over the place and got very messy. Delicious all the same.

Wonderful little bar on the beach with seating down amongst the pebbles! Friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of beers and food on offer! Great to watch the sunset and a nice walk back into the town along the sea front!

It's just a great location to enjoy fresh fish and chips -served on the beach front with tables on the beach .... If it's raining then all bets are off as no significant seating under cover But choose a sunny day and enjoy great music and a hell of an atmosphere with superlative food. You may need to wait a bit for food ... But patience as you know is a virtue

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, sitting in the beach (pebbles) on a sunny day waiting for the sun to go down with music Ibiza stylee. You gotta get there quick as by the time we arrived it was pretty much chips and chips. Lovely 🌅

We had some hot drinks and the haddock breakfast bap and everything was delicious 😍 there is pretty much always a queue, but their buzzer system works well and if you get there earlier (9am) there’s a lot less of a wait. The prices are reflective of the quality and taste but it’s on the more expensive side. I also feel like I should highlight how nice the staff were, really friendly! I saw one of them helping a regular who was blind to their seat, which it seemed they do often and their whole approach was a warm, friendly neighbourhood spot. Worth supporting!

Open all day, v casual and tasty food. Colourful seats, vibey and little cabins you can book if it’s a bit windy. Feels very food truck/Aussie/Bali Super popular any time of day in the summer.

Can’t rate this highly enough. Prime spot on the seafront with loads of seating, or you could sit on the beach if preferred. Freshly cooked food which was absolutely delicious. I had a smoked haddock, egg, chilli jam & chive mayo bap which was served with a massive portion of French fries. Great selection of drinks also available. Friendly service

Goat Ledge was featured in the i newspaper's list of 50 best seaside restaurants/cafés, and it lived up to the hype. More of a seafood shack than full-blown restaurant, the emphasis here is on freshly-caught produce, a simple but delicious menu, and laid back vibes. We ordered the classic fish burger which was crispy, perfectly seasoned and came in a beautifully glazed brioche bun. The katsu fries were divine and the perfect balance of savoury, a hint of sweetness and a low, slow chilli kick that leaves a tangy heat in the mouth. The vegetarian "pulled pork" oyster mushroom burger was an umame treat from start to finish and utterly moreish, I could have eaten two! Fries were crispy, fresh and not too oily. The bean salad with salt n pepper fried squid was fresh, zesty and complemented the crispy crunch of the squid really well. Service was friendly and relaxed and I can totally see why people go back here time and time again. And absolute gem in St Leonards / Hastings! 🐟🦀🐙🍔🍟🍤🦐🦑

This place is fantastic, after having to leave another venue this morning due to poor service and cold food, coming here was the best decision we made. The staff were friendly prompt, and the food was amazing . We will definitely be back.
