Cooked fresh perfect chips and golden batter and big white flakes of cod. Absolutely lovely. Definitely worth a vist if your in the area.
We have always enjoyed our meals from there! They are cooked to order and have just the right amount of batter on the fish...thin and beautifully crispy!
Delicious freshly cooked fish and chips - well worth a visit!
Known Jeremy for a long time but since he gave the business up it seems the new owners are keeping the standard up.
A consistently good fish and chips takeaway. Check the opening times as they're usually not open on a Saturday which is a shame.
Good portions. I usually eat down at Cape Cornwall so great for the view.
The Co-op across from Jeremy's is convenient if you want to take your own ketchup and vinegar with you!
The place gets busy quickly some evenings but they are able to get orders processed efficiently. Despite a queue of about 8 other customers I was in and out within 10 minutes. Good fish and chips.
When we read gloomy reviews we decided to go ahead and risk it. Glad we did! The queue was a good sign. People were obviously keen to eat stuff from Jeremy’s including some regulars. Fish and chips were good portion size, hot and tasty. Ten minutes wait at most. Easy to eat outdoors in the St Just open air theatre. What’s not to like?
Great food and very quick seeing how busy it was.
Great fish and chips, crispy batter and good chips with sensible portions. Was served quickly and politely.
We visited on the very last night of our Cornwall holiday. The food quality was great, we only had to wait for about 15 minutes and the price was reasonable for Cornwall in the middle of the holiday season. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely little chippy in a beautiful town. We were looking for pub grub for our tea but nothing jumped out at us so we decided on a chippy tea. My partner had fish, chips & curry sauce & I had a double Jeremy's Special burger. Both meals were great & I was really impressed with my burger. Very busy considering it was a Tuesday night too which is always a good sign!
Quite simply, the best fish and chips I've ever tasted. We had it twice whilst we were staying in St Just. Perfect both times. We ordered a medium chips and a large cod to share seasoned with salt and vinegar. Perfection.
Visited Jeremy's 20 years ago and thought it was the best fish and chips ever. Went back last week and was not disappointed, excellent cod and chips. Light crispy batter and decent sized fish. Saw some negative reviews but we found it supurb.
Called in here on an evening when service in the pub next door was slow, I had Pie and chips and my misses had Burger and chips, the staff were very pleasant and service was very good.
The establishment was very clean and there was staff constantly cleaning while we were waiting
Our food was OK standard chippy food no bad points but not out of this world.
We enjoyed our food and would return here for food.
Was out West on my bike and had run low on food, I went over to the chip shop expecting very average chips seeing as how busy they were, this means they are often rushed in other places, and not browned or crisped nicely.
This was not the case in the shop and I must say they were possibly the best chips I have tasted in a very long time. £2 for a large portion was money well spent.
Really nice cooked when you order well worth the wait big piece of fish and the chips were very good too not greasy like some other chippies
