We've had a fabulous couple of nights here. Couldn't fault any part of our stay. From arrival, we were made to feel welcome. Great "local" country pub atmosphere. Excellent location & tasty breakfasts. Very Dog 🐕 friendly. We will definitely be booking again.
Good, old style (80s) delicious food. Great, warm staff. Possibly the best Guinness in England. Will be back!
Made to feel welcome from when we first stepped through the door. Dog friendly, child friendly, owners are happy to offer local recommendations on places to visit and were so friendly. We made a reservation here for dinner & were not disappointed with the food. The kids loved their carbonara, the ch

Good traditional pub grub. Small menu could have done with more choice. Kids portions are huge and went a down treat. Fairly priced. Decor a bit dated and faded but otherwise welcoming. Service was top notch and even from behind the masks there were smiles. Good pace to service and was advised on th
A great pub. Thoroughly enjoyed Sunday lunch here yesterday with 4 of us and 2 dogs. All of us were well loomed after and the simple food was splendid, filling, and well presented. Staff were all lovely and we all left stuffed! Apple crumble and custard (low gluten) were absolutely yummy...recommend
Lovely rooms, clean quiet and warm, great old fashioned pub in a remote and gorgeous part of England. We arrived very late and landlord couldn't be more helpful. I read somewhere it's like stepping back into the 70s? Well if that's the case, then it's stepping back into the best music decade ever w
