Commute Cafe is the best cafe in town. They have a great Gluten Free Range, Vegan food too and what is so good to because very few cafe in st Ives are dog friendly like the Commute, it’s quiet and a relaxing atmosphere. Staff are so lovely and chatty you always feel welcomed when you walk in. Just hope they increase there breakfast/ Brunch menu soon !! Though I know there kitchen is pretty small ! Also recently they produced a catering menus which are so good lots of choice and really tasty food!

Popped in for lunch on the recommendation of a friend, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Although the menu was more limited for lunch options than other cafés, what we had was delicious and good value. Looking forward to visiting via bike at some point!

This place is wonderful! Great coffee, great food, great staff and a really nice atmosphere. I could eat the halloumi pesto toasted sandwich for every meal and never be sick of it 😀

Wonderful small little Cafe near the Norris museum in St Ives. There is a wonderful private courtyard at the back of this little gem of a cafe where we sat and chatted comfortably for a couple of hrs. The crushed Avocado sourdough was lovely.

Popped in for a take away coffee. Really nice feel to it with a selection of smoothies, cakes and coffees. Also, as a cycling themed cafe they have a selection of good quality items for sale including rapha jerseys and caps. There is a bike storage area around the side so would be good for larger cycling groups. Nice outdoor seating area at the rear which was a nice sun trap. Those serving were really friendly and happy to chat about their cycling exploits so, all in all a great addition to St. Ives and sure to be popular with passing cyclists.

A lovely new addition to st ives. The interior is modern, clean and spacious. The cafe is clearly biker oriented but welcome to all punters. The food and drink concept is simple and sounds delicious. Although this time we opted for coffee and a smoothie. The smoothie was fresh and great quality. The coffee was strong and well made. The Commute is a welcoming new cafe which I think fills needed gap for high quality, simply food and drink in St Ives. I can’t wait to come back and eat!

Amazing! Beautiful, clean space with a lovely atmosphere and the best baby changing facilities I’ve used in a long time! The staff went out of their way to cater for my 1 year old daughter - giving her a baby cappuccino with a side of a Gingerbread man in a ‘bath’ of marshmallows - she absolutely loved it and we felt so looked after. We will definitely be back to try out the lunch menu which looks fantastic and would highly recommend to anyone in St Ives! Thank you for such a lovely morning!

Everyone I have taken here has loved it. It has fast become mine and my family’s favourite cafe in St Ives! My café averse dad even likes it which is as higher endorsement as I can give 😂 Light, airy atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. Yummy hot chocolate in a nice big mug, great coffee too.

Glad I had the chance to finally try out the place. Despite the limited outdoor seating, there are plenty of seats inside. The food was good. I had a fruit smoothie, the fruit was frozen to preserve it's flavour and nutrients. The lunch meal I had was smashed arvo. Avocado, prosciutto, on bread that and peas with rocket on the side. The lunch meal was nice, fresh ingredients however it did lack any depth of flavour. Personally, I would've slightly toasted the bread and brushed olive oil on the topside, then seasoned the smashed avocado with lemon and pepper, placed the prosciutto between the bread and avocado.

Lovely, friendly place to visit, was made very welcome! Had a very tasty toasted sandwich and cuppa yesterday! Will be back again soon for cake, which I didn't have time for yesterday and I was gutted, because they all looked so delicious! Some great echo-friendly items for sale too!

After touring St Ives trying to find somewhere still serving for a late lunch, we tried the Commute Café. We received a warm welcome and were not only able to order a savoury dish, they willingly customised it for us. The GF victoria sound and carrot cake were also tasty. What a great cafe. We will be back.

Good coffee, also great to get a proper mug of tea, just what you need after a good walk. Dog friendly which is excellent. Have yet to try the tempting food but will do in the near future. A great start for this new café, keep up the good work 🙂
