Another lovely meal and visit to the Marsh Harrier today. Got greeted by happy faces, particularly Alex who's always so friendly but still professional. Hubby and my parents and I all had a lovely meal. The steaks were cooked just right and love the little pie you get with the peppercorn sauce inside, such a nice touch. I had the vegetable curry which was super tasty as always. We had desserts, the ice cream sundaes which were fab such good value too. Love the surroundings and decor too since they had the refurb. It's lovely to have this great place only a few miles away from us so sometimes pop there for a nice weekday meal and drink out. It really is a box ticker, great food at a good price and lovely service. No doubt we will be there again soon. Think I will try the steak next time 🖒. Thanks Marsh Harrier for a lovely experience today which we all enjoyed

Food was really lovely, served quickly. Can't fault the staff, they were really friendly. Would definitely return, you can't fault anything at those prices. We ordered 4 mixed grills and several burgers, all coojed well. You really do deliver tasty food at great value.

Excellent , booked time and table number, correct table reserved, only two ladies serving and they were excellent. I complemented the person I think was the duty manager that the chicken was very tender today, last week it was tough. So all good - thank you

Despite living locally and not visiting since it opened, I finally managed a trip to what some of the locals (rather uncharitably) call 'the plastic pub'. Built at around the same time as the nearby supermarket, it was designed as a restaurant rather than what you would think of as a traditional pub. The food was pretty good - all the usual Marston's fair. Good service was let down towards the end of the evening when our server disappeared and all other staff strived to avoid eye contact. I had to go to the till to get my bill and pay which, if it hadn't taken so long I maybe wouldn't have been too bothered. I left a decent tip as the service has been good up to that point. All in all, a fairly positive experience although I won't be rushing back.

We often pick the Marsh Harrier for lunch knowing it will good food reasonably priced. Always a warm welcome and attentive staff we were here for lunch on 1st Oct and the bar guy was lovely. I had a very good prawn salad so many big juicy flavourful prawns. The roast looked fab. I would only say the lasagne could have done with more of a grilled cheese top as it looked quite white. But well done Marsh Harrier still consistently good.

I asked for sparkling water which was out of stock. I was offered an array of alternatives, where I accepted soda water. My companion hadn’t arrived, but I was courteously shown our booked table. When we ordered food I asked for our salads to have the dressing separately so we could choose huw much to use. Also 1 to be provided gluten free as I wasn’t sure of exact recipe items. Both were provided with no arguments. The salads were lovely- full of interesting bits like beans and seeds- fabulous. To quote Arnie - I’ll be back! Thanks

We went mid week and late afternoon when there weren’t many others there. We had a table booked for between 10 and 12 people which was no problem to them. The staff had seated us away from from other guests which was very respectful for us due to the fact we had just attended a funeral. The food was very good and everyone was served at the same time so we were all able to eat together. Despite the circumstances we all had a really good experience and will definitely be back again in the future. Particular thanks go to Guido and Beth, and of course the Chef on duty that day.

It had really gone downhill since our last visit. The meals took over an hour to arrive and sausage and mash arrived with cold mash. My mum is 90 years old and really looks forward to coming here. Not any more. The two guys at the bar were not doing a good job. Two people near us walked out as their meals were over an hour. No apology when they finally arrived. No offer of an apology or dessert to say sorry. It was appalling. A total lack of interest. How can things change so much?

From the moment my friend and I arrived we received excellent service. The staff were polite and friendly. They gave us time to settle before approaching our table offering information regarding ordering. The food was delivered promptly and was delicious. Check out was easy and it was excellent value for money. I will be returning soon.

Had lunch today Steak was just as l asked for , but the rest was rather disappointing , the mushrooms were dried up and inedible the so called grilled tomato was still raw , peas not good either. . It’s a shame as we’ve been here a few times in the past with no issues , was also surprised that there was not an additional daily menu to choose from. Sorry but I will hesitate on coming back again .

I have eaten here twice now, once with a large group (16 people) and once with my wife and son (1 year old). I feel the atmosphere is welcoming and it has seemed clean and tidy on both visits. The building is modern and nicely decorated. They were quick to seat us and provide drinks and a high chair. Parking is available free of charge. The food is very well priced with many options available and the majority of these are '2 for 1' offers which is great. On both occasions I have ordered burgers and have not been disappointed by the food. The portions are of a good size and are cooked nicely. The only one thing I can say which let this place down a little was the speed of service for the food. On both occasions the food has taken a fairly long time to arrive. I thought the first was fair enough as we were a large number but on the second visit it took just as long, so I'm not sure what's up there? Otherwise I would definitely recommend this pub for a casual meal with friends and family.

Very friendly staff, enjoyed our food. It was a shame that Pizza and Mac cheese off the menu but understood when reasons explained and found something else off the menu. So nice that the manager acknowledged the reason of visit being our Foster daughter’s amazing achievements from school.

Has been hit and miss in the past, but most recently it was a decent meal - steak was nice and thick and cooked spot on! Pizza was clearly handmade and tasted amazing.

We were just in the area for a Lego festival and wanted to grab some lunch that wasn't too expensive etc. Easy to book and we were seated straight away. The staff are really friendly and helpful and ordering at the bar was simple enough. The food came out in good time, although we were in no rush and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The food istelf was hot and definitely freshly made and was really nice/good quality. Not like some place where they just bash it out. A good selection of drinks/deserts and a kids menu is always a plus! I definitely recommend coming here as really cannot fault out own experience
