Hadn’t been here for years. Went for Wednesday evening dinner. The service was perfect and the food was amazing. Could not recommend highly enough. Definitely going back.
Been here a few times in the past. A little bit disappointed this time. The Chicken Korma was very dry chicken and very hard the Keema rice was a tad dry but very tasty I also had Moter paneer which is not on their menu but they were very happy to oblige and it was excellent as well.
The restaurant is very clean and tidy with very attentive staff always there for you but not in your pocket which is a nice feeling. All the other customers seemed happy with their orders some obviously knowing what is what on the menu I am sure that any staff would be happy to explain any dish if you dont know what it is.
All in all a good restaurant with good food but I had to drop the one star due to the chicken (I did not mention about the chicken as I had started writing the review and did not want special service)
We had a takeaway that we collected.
Ordering over the phone was really easy, the wait time was quite a while but for a weekend evening this is expected.
The wait on collection was then a while after expected time but drinks were given for the delay.

Each item was very hot so you could tell it had been freshly cooked.
The food was full of flavour and Montaz is our favourite Indian restaurant and takeaway.
If you're looking for a restaurant to eat in or a takeaway I'd recommend Montaz.
Wow! The only frustrating thing is I haven't found this place sooner! Having only ordered takeaway twice from here, it is safe to say I won't order an Indian from any where else in the area! Fantastic food, great flavour and it is always delivered hot and relatively quickly for an Indian. Would love to come in for a meal!

We ate at Montaz in St Ives this evening and everything was perfect, great service, amazing food, lovely atmosphere. Definitely 5stars. Thoroughly enjoyed all round.

Went on Thursday evening, fairly quiet but all 4 of us thought the food and service was excellent, had a lovely evening.
Great food and service.a warm welcome awaits and the food is fantastic. Very busy on a saturday night so I would book.
Had a good meal at the Montaz last night. Food was really good even if it was busy and the service was slow.
I was disappointed that the waiting staff kept trying to give our good and drinks to surrounding tables - repeatedly.
Note that if you are trying to avoid covid, I wouldn't visit the Montaz. Despite what every other restaurant in the UK is doing now with table spacing, social distancing etc., the Montaz is exactly how it was before lockdown apart from some hand wipes and signs on the floor on the way in being ignored by everyone. Only one member of staff was wearing a mask and take away customers were constantly in and out without masks or social distancing.
Had a lovely meal here with old work colleagues.
Food was great, reasonable prices, nice place. I even brought 1/2 my dinner home as there was too for me to eat in one go!
Good food, they forgot to send cutlery which is acceptable.
They send a person to drop us proper glass, plate and spoon. Big thank you guys!! Respect.

Top tier, and a highly recommended indian cuisine.
Mixed with the atmosphere and the great smell of the sizzling tandoori, the experience would be a real one.
Coming from Bangladesh, a place that homes such food, this really conveys the culture of the food from my home.
5 stars, highly recommend a visit.
