Unusually, poor atmosphere due to the presence of a group of four loud and shouty visitors. They left soon after we did and I wonder if management had asked them to leave. Normally this venue has a most comfortable atmosphere.

Not to brag, but at this point in life, I've seen my fair share of 'spoons! This was a decent layout, fairly busy but staff were on top of the dining area. Really helpful with menu options and ordering, and quick on the draw with crayons for the kids! We experienced a slight imperfection with the food, which is absolutely forgivable on a busy Sunday lunch, but was impeccably resolved by the super hot blonde girl (possibly manager). She was apologetic without being patronising, compassionate without making us feel unreasonable, and offered is a choice of resolutions. Errors happen but resolutions like that almost erase them. All round, great dining experience. Would definitely eat there again. Ps. The cookie ice cream is insane!!!

Lovely friendly staff and very accommodating. They are all happy to help and it’s one of the best Wetherspoon pubs we’ve visited in recent years. We love the food and always enjoy our experience. I hope it remains that way. A gem locally. Thanks to all the staff! C

Fairly typical for a Wetherspoons. Fast service, good prices and good quality food. The app is as cranky as ever, but still preferred to queueing. I'd definitely come again.

Normally a great range of real cask ale on, including my favourite brewer: Oakham.

We had sirloin steak and all the trimmings. Very nice food. Barman just needs to keep an eye on whose next in queue.

A lovely and cosey pub (especially in the winter, when the fireplace is burning)! Very friendly and skilled manager, great condition beers (often an Oakham Ale's on tap, for those that like their real ales). One of the best Wetherspoon pubs within 50 miles of Cambridge!

It's a Spoons but not the usual sticky carpet dive. Food was nice and well price. One of the better ones

Just want to say a big thank you to Johnny from last. Who works behind the bar. My contactless wouldn’t work and Johnny kindly paid for my drink. I did get cash in the end but at first he wasn’t going to accept it. Great customer service.
