The diner window is tempting enough to queue here to get a table so planned a visit on a weekday off peak hour to have cream tea. They do all kinds of Cornish bakery goods along with a good menu for all day food. We had the cream tea which had a big scone with clotted cream and jam with a pot of tea. The scone was a bit dry for my liking but went down a treat with the jam and cream. They had interesting options for tea and both the peppermint and the lemongrass/ginger ones were great for the late afternoon. Service and staff were friendly and good all around.

Sky's Diner is a wonderful Café with some truely great food, they cater for vegetarians really well and do some nice vegan pastys too. Their indoor seating is reasonably small catering for about 30 people so you may have to wait at the door for someone to finish before getting a seat at busy breakfast, lunch or dinner times, But they do takeaway from the window (so grab and go it's the same wonderful food at the end of the day). It is on possibility the busiest Street in St. Ives so no parking. The atmosphere is a little crowded indoors but other than that I can't fault it.

Not the most amazing crab sandwich I’ve ever had but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it apart from the price! Almost £14 and it was quite basic

Really good food and amazing hot chocolate. If you’re looking for a good sit-down spot to eat at in St. Ives, this is a great spot for that.

An excellent visit for breakfast. Looked after us very well. The waitress was incredibly attentive and very nice. Top marks to her. Swapped my order half way through and there was no huffing and puffing. A great place with more importantly, excellent food

OK so I really did enjoy this diner, the food was actually really nice, we had 2 breakfast muffins. I didnt want my egg so they gave my egg to my partner which I thought was very accomidating. However the staff were under a lot of pressure as they were understaffed and very stressed out, the bad reviews about the service I think might be for this reason. I did feel very sorry for the staff and they did work to the best of their abilities. When we arrived it wasn't very welcoming, however they did change it around quite quickly which made our visit pleasant in the end. I would like to say well done to the staff during this busy time and don't let it knock you because you all work very hard.

Lovely Cafe, great breakfast, dog friendly. Visited for a late breakfast and was very impressed. I had the full english breakfast. They were happy for me to swap out the beans (which I’m not a fan of) with another premium item. I doubled down on hash browns. All in, a very impressive ensemble and I especially liked the sausages. One of our party wanted the yoghurt and french toast with the Berry compote but they had ran out of berries. The waitress was really helpful and offered to get more berries from the shop over the road, which we really appreciated. They also let Daniel (The Spaniel) in which he was pleased about after his run on the beach.

Nice sandwiches. Great scones for the cream tea very much let down by a tiny jar of tasteless mass produced jam substitute from Lichfields. Why? When there are so many wonderful local producers?

Popped in for breakfast. Great coffee!! And their herbal tea selection is really good. Pancakes with crispy bacon was done to perfection, and their pain au chocolat was fresh, flaky, and warm, like it had just come out of the oven! If you get a chance, the cannolis on the counter are a must have too!!! The tall young lad who served was so nice and friendly and kind- along with chef, the stars of the show! can’t say that for the young girl who later served us- I know it gets busy during your breakfast service but you should treat your customers respectfully and not in an angry/rude manner.
