Food was all beautiful for 6 of us, juicy burgers (big burgers) with the most amazing parmesan and truffle fries. Chilli crab linguine was soo yummy. Mac n cheese was so cheesy with a lovely crumb on top! And had the BEST coconut and chilli cocktail!! Lovely place inside. Friendly staff. Food was great. Second time here and can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely amazing food. We went on our last day of holiday. I had the mussels to start. It's one of my favourite starters and have to say this was by far the best ones I've ever had anywhere. For main I had the seabass with lobster bisque. It was so nice I was determined to finish despite eyes being too big for belly but I did it. Waiter was lovely too. Would definitely recommend.
Great find for a birthday lunch out in St. Ives. The gent who served us was both attentive and knowledgeable - suggesting a couple of gins for the wife to try (you just have to try the Cornish Chili Gin, made locally)
The food was fantastic - mackerel pate for the wife, and pork belly in oyster sauce for me as starters were both very tasty and an ideal sized starter. For mains we had a rib eye steak cooked to a perfect rare/medium with some fries, with me having the bbq ribs that came in a really sticky sauce and were also deep fried! These came with fries (or mash) and a really good spicy coleslaw. Thankfully the restaurant doesn't do desserts(we weren't offered any) cos we couldn't have done one justice anyhow
2 cocktails, pint and the food came to 70 - quite reasonable for St. Ives.

I’m writing this as I’m sat waiting for my dessert ( crème brûlée which I have to order every time I see it on the menu) and I had to start this review! I had the sirloin with a peppercorn sauce and the pork belly starter and it was to die for! Also had a glass of rose and a wonderful cocktail ( so bear with any spelling errors or typos)
If the food and drink weren’t great, the service is definitely top notch the staff are attentive without being overbearing, Aware of what’s going on with tables and know if anyone needs anything. I don’t think I’ve ever been so quick to write a review but as a fellow hospitality worker it’s nice to be told how good things and people are.
I will happily come back if/when I have the chance 😁

Turned up without a booking but got seated right away. Straight away we were brought water for the table. The menu had enough on it to choose from and the food itself was amazing. Would highly recommend a visit.
We had an absolute blast. The setting is great - can't beat the views. Lovely atmosphere and fast service. Two of the three meals (Firehouse Burger & Margherita Pizza) were amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but the Chicken Burger was a real let down - a tiny sliver of chicken and a mountain of breadcrumb. When we pointed this out to the waitress she took one of our drinks off the bill, but the kitchen commented "all our chicken burgers are weighed". I suggest they need to fix their scales or increase the expected weight. A disappointing end to the evening.
Have been here multiple times with partner 5* each time, booked table. Was sat downstairs, a table was available upstairs. Was then offered table upstairs with nice view.
Our second visit to the Firehouse this evening, and it was a culinary delight once again! Incredible food, packed with flavour, and all the while sitting amongst the gem that is St Ives. Book a table, you won’t regret it! Thank you again to all the staff for an excellent evening meal 👏🏻
A quaint little restaurant in the heart of St Ives that had an eclectic menu and decent selection of brews. Tried the steak and Guinness pie as well as the curry and both were really fresh and tasty. Also had the bread which was very good.
Atmosphere was nice and cozy although a little bit cramped. It wasn't too busy though so it was not an issue.
Overall a great place and food and would be pleased to go again.
Was unsure on what to expect here, but the menu looked good with an extensive choice. We chose the sirloin steak and the half chicken with ribs. What we got was an extremely tasty, perfectly cooked meal each and a good portion too. The place was very busy and understandably popular but the staff we still attentive, helpful and made our visit very enjoyable. Thank you to all of you. The steak was fantastic but the ribs are something else - will be back for sure 🥩 🍗 🤤
We just called in here off the cuff and was lucky as a couple to get a table (booking is advised) we was upstairs, the vibe was very relaxing the service was excellent and the equally a good. There is a great selection, choice of food and drinks which are all reasonably priced. We had chicken burger, pizza and firehouse fries and it was all very nice fast service. Great night, great atmosphere and great food.

Absolutely fabulous!! Popped in for an early Sunday lunch with our two dogs. The team were lovely and very accommodating with the dogs. My partner had the mix grill and it was outstanding! Especially the mini guiness pie! I had sea bass fillets and it was cooked to perfection. Thank you and we will be back!!!

This place is fire indeed🔥🔥🔥. Visited on 15.08.23. The food taste is out of this world. We asked to be sat upstairs with a sea view and we got that.
The service is exceptional, didnt wait long for the food.
I wanted to see the chef just to give my appreciation but unfortunately we couldn't see the chef. His name Josh.. Josh you are indeed an amazing chef keep up the good work.
A great evening at Firehouse. Food arrived quickly, excellent selection of gins and staff prompt. We arrived for a table at 7:45 and were initially turned away and told to return around 8:15. We did, and a table was available. Pizzas were thin and tasty. Would definitely eat here again.
Fab food, service was excellent and if you get a table at the front, then the views are amazing.
