Great fish and chips. Really tasty and friendly staff. Their potatoes are from a local market. The only downside is that there is only a single bathroom both for men and women, so there is usually always a queue, and it is not very clean.
We ate in because the weather outside was rainy and windy, service was excellent, the food is amazing yes you may pay a little more than usual but the quality out weighs this and if you visiting you will probably only gone once, will definitely visit again next time we’re there
Absolutely delighted with my meal at The Harbour Fish and Chips! The mackerel was cooked to perfection, complemented perfectly by the golden, crispy chips. The service was impeccable, and the staff's friendliness added to the wonderful dining experience. The fantastic atmosphere only enhanced the en
I’ve been here a few times now and I am still under the opinion that it’s the best fish in st ives. The fish is always so fresh, so tasty, and the option to have the more delicate ones grilled too is just fab! If you want good fish, here’s the place! The muscles matched this standard too, and it’s c
Food was great. The cod and scallops were extremely fresh and chips were not too greasy. Unfortunately the table was very sticky and not cleaned. Chloe was our waitress, unfortunately she wasn’t very welcoming and came across unfriendly. I noticed other tables around us were being treated in a more
Great option for fish and chips in the harbour. The main selling point are the healthy options being grilled fish and salad. Everything is homemade and fresh. I loved the tartare sauce and curry sauces. The battered cod was really crispy and delicious. The service was super nice and friendly even th
I ordered a battered haddock (£6.95) and small chips (£3) for takeaway. They also have a restaurant where you can sit in. The service was quick. The girls from the counter were nice. The food was freshly fried. Chips was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which was good (that’s how I prefe
Great place to eat. Nice view of harbour. Eat in or take away. Generous portions. Fresh fish freshly prepared. Friendly customer service.
Lovely fish and chips and nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Tad on the expensive side though. £39 for 1 fish and chips and curry sauce and Chicken goujons and chips and curry sauce with a drink each.
What a lovely experience: great food and excellent service! Love mackerel and have enjoyed it so many ways but 1st time battered. Delicious and reasonably priced.
Been here a few times and absolutely love the food. It is always superb and worth the visit. Highly recommended.
Great fish and chips with a lovely view. Understaffed but the waitress coped really well and did a great job.
We used it’s bustling takeaway service this week and can honestly say that that haddock was probably the best we’ve ever had. The fish was lovely and fresh and the batter was light and golden. 5* dinner sitting over looking the harbour. Lovely. Just watch out for the very cunning gulls.
