Food, as always, was first rate. Chilli and rice is the best I've had anywhere. Been coming hear for many years and Pels is simply the best.

Not only the perfect location, but excellent food, morning, noon, or night. Steve and his wife run a great ship, get really busy around lunch time, but consistently serve great food. Mars bar crêpe excellent for those with a sweet tooth, panini's excellent, the bacon brie and cranberry lovely. Pizzas wonderful too, and a great deal on 2 pizzas. We have around 50 percent of our meals from here when we visit, we like it lots and they cater for our kids too. Great for families. See you next time 🙂

We were in St Ives for a day trip yesterday and I was desperate to have a crab sandwich. Since it was on the menu, we chose the place and it was great! My mum was with me and had a chicken and avocado with feta wrap and says it is the best food she has ever had. Beyond this, the service was swift and friendly. I was most impressed with the way staff were interacting with each other. It was extremely busy and having worked in catering myself, it could have been an extremely stressful environment. However, the staff continued to work hard and speak to each other with respect even when under pressure to get food prepared or when running out of ingredients. They truly worked as a team and that was wonderful to see.

Pels is one of the best restaurants in Saint Ives! I have had burgers, pizzas, chips, and paninis here and all of them have been of great quality and very tasty. The prices here are also decent for the area and compared to other food places in the vicinity. The staff here are polite and well mannered despite being very busy. You may have to wait for up to 20 minutes for your food but it is almost always definitely worth it!

Been here 4 times in the past two weeks of visiting st Ives and loved every meal. Their pizzas were amazing plenty of topping, crispy dough and freshly made. Burgers both chicken and beef were very good, plenty of filling and good quality meat. Prices were very reasonable too. I would also recommend their crepes and pinnies too. We are looking forward to coming back here next year.

Ordered pizzas for the family and super happy there was a GF option and also noticed the cafe has GF cakes also. The pizzas are incredible, the staff friendly and the authentic pizzas are cooked fresh to order. The GF Veronese did not disappoint, delicious. Don’t look anywhere else ❤️

Excellent service. Huge variety of gluten free options including sandwiches, crepes and pizza. Top quality food that is reasonably priced and great care is taken for allergen sufferers. Best gluten free place in St Ives!

After being turned away from another restaurant for having a baby with us. Pels allowed us to bring our 3 dogs in as well. Service was very quick and food was lovely. Nice little cafe with huge menu, would go again.

Crepes are really good here but it’s definitely better to take away than eat in as it’s quite a small seating area with people standing to order or waiting for take away. The take out desserts, especially the bread and butter pudding, are nice to have while on holiday but not wanting to eat out. Staff always used to be friendly but service has not been so great the last couple of times we’ve been.

Amazing pizzas made to order. We had a large meat feast pizza and a children's pizza *Too large for one child, so order one if you have two kids to feed. Good gluten free options too including sandwiches and panini. Great for a quick spot of lunch.

We had three take aways when we stayed in st ives in October. The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and they had excellent covid measures in place. The children loved finding the Halloween stones that you had hidden!

We had takeouts from Pels 4/5times in July all were lovely, salads were freshly done with what you wanted. jacket potatoes cooked to perfection, the spare ribs and burgers were great, ordered over phone or on the way back from the beach and ready when we were to pick up. Staff really friendly will definitely be going back on our next visit next year.

Located on the sea front of st Ives. It has indoor and outdoor seating with excellent views. I highly recommend this place. I come down on the train from plymouth but always have lunch at this place. They do the most Amazing pizzas and crepes. To eat in or Takeaway. They also do various snacks main meals and cakes. The prices are very reasonable. It's a very clean cosy place. Attracts a friendly crowd travellers. Very friendly staff.
