A lovely old English bub with a great atmosphere and helpful staff. The food is exceptional and of good value. The best fresh local crab Sandwich I have ever had and my partner said the same about the Mussels. A must visit if your in St Ives. Wow, not gonna lie I wasn't expecting what I got. It's a very old fashioned quirky pub (I love it) we could take our dogs in which they settled really well! I had the fishpie it was amazing! Big portions so be prepared to unbutton your trousers! My husband had the muscles and it was prob one of the best muscles iv ever tasted!
Called in yesterday for lunch and a pint. Great cosy little pub which wasn’t busy given the hustle and bustle outside on the small St Ives backstreets.
Friendly barmaid and waitress, food excellent, freshly made to order and portions were huge, very reasonably priced too!
If you’re in the area and want to get away from the crowds, do yourself a favour and pop in here!

Went on a Saturday night when they had a great band playing.
Good food too at a reasonable price.
Nipped in for a pint and stayed for hours,live band bow guitars were fantastic , we had already eaten, but the food portions that came out to other people were huge, returned again and Bailey was singing, fantastic night.
We only ate at the pub lovely food and amazing service, very busy did not disappoint .

We ate lunch here on a recent trip to St Ives. Great wholesome food reasonably priced. Great friendly atmosphere making you feel welcome when you walk in. Staff were great.
Great dog friendly pub. Really good choice of vegetarian and vegan options too. Food was really good. Nice to find a really good dog friendly pub in the centre of st ives.

Can't comment on rooms as did not stay but location great. Proper traditional pub with great atmosphere, tasty food at good prices and generous portions, you won't leave still hungry like other poncy places around st.ives. service great and very friendly, top discovery for us with young family plus dog as all made welcome. Highly recommend
