One word WOW! From the start. My husband rung up and booked a table around 5pm for a table of 7 expecting not to be able to get sit all together, to the pleasure of not a problem can you come at 6pm! Perfect! On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady and soon sorted out a high chair booster seat for our little one (even with my small one blowing raspberries at her) And the food well it wsd truly amazing and the quality was spot on and excellent value money. A true gem of st ives for food and service and I can recommend "Scoff Troff" enough.

Always a pleasure to stop at this friendly cafe after a walk on a he front and a bit of retail therapy. The breakfasts are to die for along with a good pot of tea for two.

Lovely place to stay, good music and very friendly humourfull staff . Yummy Omelette , Soup and delicious Cakes. Avocado cream as topping never tried before...njamm njamm. We will come back next year.

Found this place by accident. Arrived for breakfast and the place was bursting with customers. Got the last table and was told thier was a little wait on food. Not surprising with the amount of orders flying in. No waiting time at all. Food was amazing when it flew out the kitchen. Will hopefully get to visit again on this holiday. If not will definitely return to St Ives just to come back. Keep up the good work guys. You will go far!
Visit there yesterday the food was great, there was something for everyone on the breakfast menu and there was 5 of us , we only vistit st Ive for the day but when we come again next year we will be visiting scoff troff cafe again

Lovely place had a coffee and tea cake in the morning super dog friendly had a wander around and went back for lunch highly recommend a visit if your in st Ives. 😀🐶

Fantastic café! Not only are the staff really friendly and provide great table service. The food is delicious and piping hot - presentation is spot on. It's also a dog friendly business which means your pooch can tag along too! Highly recommended and I'll will be hurrying back soon.

Staff were so friendly couldn't do enough for you. Place was clean and tidy and toilet facilities were very clean.

An excellent choice of breakfasts on the menu, our full English and eggs Benedict were cooked and served beautifully. Staff were friendly whilst professional and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, a little gem of a place with an amusing WiFi password! Highly recommended.
Nice breakfast - tasty poached eggs on toast and coffee, with good service. My only criticism is to include a second slice of toast, one small slice not enough for me!
Fantastic breakfast/brunch place in the earth of St Ives. The service was top notch and they were playing some pleasant morning music to create a nice/relax atmosphere.
We had florentine eggs, a veggie breakfast and some scones while also enjoying tasteful coffees and juice.
I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a top-tier breakfast in the city.

Wonderful vegan options! Very delighted to come to this place for breakfast. It’s such a generous portion and the prices are great. Also, the staff members are so so happy and friendly. I love this place. Definitely return for either lunch or dinner.
Lunch here was good, food was enjoyed by us all. Great coffee and fry ups. What you see is what you get kind of place. They are doing kids eat free 4-6pm in the school holidays which is a great little deal we went for lunch so couldn't take advantage but still thought it was great they were trying to help with costs during summer hols.
We visited here yesterday for breakfast after trying to get in a few times midweek but they were always very busy - and rightly so! We were greeted by a lovely gentleman who took us to our table that was dog friendly. We ordered an apple juice and a latte which came out quickly. For breakfast my daughter ordered waffles with Nutella and whipped cream which was huge! I ordered the Smoked Haddock and Spinach minus the Eggs which was easily accommodated. It was all absolutely delicious and well worth the wait,just a shame its 366 miles away or I'd be visiting more often!
Fantastic! Welcoming and friendly, fast service, felt very safe (re: Covid) and most importantly the food and drink were excellent! Salted Caramel Cheesecake with a Latte thoroughly recommended! Chocolate Milkshake also delicious. Even the GF vegan flapjack was tasty.
Update: revisited for dinner today and weren't disappointed! The food was absolutely amazing (don't be fooled by the 'Scoff Troff' name. Cocktails were great, and the staff were friendly and swift. We definitely recommend a visit.
Fantastic friendly little cafe. My husband had missed the breakfast by just a few mins so ordered something else. He explained his disappointment with the waitress as she chatted with us and unknown to us she checked if his meal had been cooked with chef, it hadn't, so she arranged for the breakfast lunch menu to be done for him. It made his day. What a lovely thing to do. Excellent food, well cooked. Thankyou guy's for a lovely experience.
The food was served fast and tasted delicious on the first visit, but was a tad disappointing on a second try. The decor is fresh, but doesn’t try too hard.
We didn’t get any drinks, but the complimentary lemon water is a nice treat.
They had a range of cakes which were divine. And the truffle fries were excellent.
Waiting staff were polite and helpful, and the atmosphere was great. Food potions are good, if not a slightly large size, so maybe bring a box.
For a place that doesn’t only serve vegetarian food, they really hit the mark. The salad options are well done, and don’t seem like an afterthought, like at many other eateries.
Dog friendly, kid friendly, wallet friendly. Don’t see who wouldn’t feel welcome here. But be warned, the menus are ‘hidden’ under the tables, as the gentleman next to us discover after 5ish minutes.

Fabulous breakfast here! Staff were lovely also. Nicely spaced tables for a comfortable experience. Will definitely be back! Went back again today. Have to also mention their coffee is delicious 😋. We will be back next year during our holiday.
Went a couple of times for brunch over a long weekend. Both occasions it was busy but well managed and the food was excellent. The menu ranges from traditional fry up to “healthy” options with avocado, hummus, kale etc. The coffee is also worth a mention.
Quite a decent place, very quick and friendly service, large portions, good atmosphere and really amazing food.
The only thing that we didn’t like: the tables and a little small and causes a bit of nuisance to the whole experience.
But otherwise, we had a great time.

Fabulous dog & family friendly café. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice decor. Good choice of drinks (including a biscoff latte!) and some of the best sandwiches ever. I had the local crab sandwich, which was lovely, the 9yr old had a Scott's Dog, which he devoured and my husband had a tofu/avo sandwich, which he claims was the best sandwich he's ever had!! Will definitely go back again
The Scoff Troff is a lovely little place to eat in St Ives. My Mum & Dad had been there before and took me and my other half when we went down there for the first time. For lunch I had the New York Salad - chicken breast, sliced bacon, mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, red onion, mixed peppers, coleslaw & caesar dressing. The cafe is lovely and very modern. Dogs are welcome in the cafe. I love this little place! Would 100% go back!
