What a place to have our first meal in St Ives. The service is amazing and the view is incredible.
We ordered lobster bisque and crab linguine for starters. Then I had fish and seafood curry for my mains.
This is the best seafood curry I had in my life. You must try it if you have the chance. I will come back to this place if we come back to St Ives.

Had a great dining experience here. The view from the terrace is splendid, food is on top notch complement with exceptional services from the staffs.
You almost have to search for it; but it is worth to š Our colleagues have already been here for several times. If you like seafood, you are at the right place; and it was delicious! Whether you like a good classic Fish and Chips or you like special starters or main dishes.
Lovely restaurant set on the beach right by St Ives Station. Very popular so you'll need to book in high season but so worth it. Fish based menu but 2 veggie options for each course. Staff and service impeccable. This is on the beach so closest parking if driving is the St Ives car park or another town central car park as that is pretty small. Great kids menu, and there is a patio roof in the rain. Mains c. Ā£32 or Ā£36 for veggie.
Flavoursome tapas style food, fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. Although it was very hot outside, it was uncomfortably cold inside. We had blankets and a heater on, slightly odd. The views were breathtaking.
Lovely restaurant on the beach with great views and great decor. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. We sat by the balcony and had some fish and chips. Really enjoyed our meal with the views of the beach and great service.
We had a truly excellent lunch here with our young children.
Service was calm, relaxed and attentive, (and the kids were spoilt for attention!) The food was unfussy but brilliantly executed. And the location - wow! On the quieter side of St Ives, looking out over golden sands & turquoise sea!

Wow! What an amazing restaurant overlooking the harbour. We were lucky enough to have our dinner watching a beautiful sunset whilst eating delicious food.

Absolute amazing food, and the staff and service was the best I've ever experienced
A must visit if you're in St Ives and looking for good food. Thoroughly deserve the 2 rosettes, the food was sublime and paired with some great wine. All the servers were friendly, and there was a really nice ambience in the restaurant. Not the cheapest if you're on a budget but thoroughly worth the extra few quid.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Porthminster Beach Cafe and have to say that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and immediately felt a sense of hospitality. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with excellent views to the bay.
The fish served was undoubtedly some of the best I've ever had. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality.
The staff members were attentive and friendly. They were quick to offer recommendations and catered to any special requests we had. The service was prompt without feeling rushed, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace. It's refreshing to dine at a place where the staff genuinely cares about your dining experience.
Overall, my visit was a memorable one. The combination of delicious, well-prepared fish and exceptional service left a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend!!
Amazing meal here. Wonderful location right on the beach. Service was spot on with great recommendations for food (including our painful dietary requirements!) and wine. The meal was fantastic - in particular Malaysian Fish Curry which was to die for. Really made for a great evening all round. Thank you to all concerned
Woooow!!! Absolutely, genuinely fantastic!!! I've had the opportunity and fortune of eating at some amazing eateries around the world and this place was up there, right near the top!! It was our anniversary and the staff treated us like royalty! Seriously, wonderful people! Scarlet and Charlie (staff who served us) were brilliant! A credit to the restaurant!! We visited this restaurant for the third time (every time that we have come to St Ives) and the food was amazing - as it has been every time we have been.
Service was polite and correct, our table was in the extension part of the building with excellent views of the beach and the atmosphere was just right for a lunchtime.
Good quality food, superbly cooked and well presented in a beautiful restaurant is never going to be inexpensive.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything and I felt that it was good value for a top quality meal.
Beautiful, light, airy restaurant with incredible beach views. Food was great, the dessert in particular was sensational. A little expensive but worth it.

A great experience from start to finish. The staff are friendly and professional - easily the best service weāve experienced around St Ives. We booked for a birthday treat and requested a nice view. On arrival the team had selected us a perfect table and left a birthday message. There is only a sample menu online so I was a little concerned about what would be available - especially for our teenage son. But, I neednāt have worried. The restaurant create the menu around the fresh food available on the day and the food really reflects this. We all had different meals and each one not only tasted amazing but was beautifully presented. My wife chose catch of the day and the fish was clearly fresh from the sea. I opted for a smoked beef dish and again the chefs skills were clear to see. There was even a simple fish and chips for our son and he said it was the best heād tasted. Prices are higher than many places around St Ives but itās definitely worth the extra in my opinion. I highly recommend a visit!
Today's 3 o clock lunch was AMAZING š Pork belly was divine, lobster was fresh and well prepared, the monkfish curry was delicious. The chocolate bomb was beautiful and the margaritas top notch. Our waiter was a young male we didn't get his name but the service was 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Thank you Jasmine, chef and the whole team. As two vegans (who still drink wine and appreciate all food and drink) we were blown away by the creativity (and deliciousness) of each dish and hospitality. Extra points for carrying Lismore wine. Canāt wait to plan our next trip to Cornwall
