Fantastic staff and a great little place in the harbour. Smidgens are perfect appetisers; a top selection of wines too. If you are in St Ives you must visit the Beach Cafe Bar.
If there was more than a 5* it would be!!! Popped in for coffee in the morning and the waiter was so chatty and nice we returned for lunch! Lovely selection of reasonably priced wine, beautifully prepared food, great service with a perfect view!
We hired Beach Cafe Bar for drinks after our wedding ceremony at The Guildhall and they went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect. Serena and the staff were absolutely fantastic from the moment we got in touch with them, so friendly and helpful. Lovely bar in a perfect location, with a vast selection of beers, ales and wines. They couldn't have been more accommodating to us and our guests. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting St Ives, you won't be disappointed!
Dawn and I have been here 4 times this week and we love the place . We have had the wine flights everyday ... Superb ! The Cornish tapas is delicious and the choice of superb wines left us with the difficult decision of which to have next . I would recommend this place to everyone , the view from the cafe is amazing and the service is excellent ( thank you very much Georgia )
Only stopped for a cream tea, but the scone was soft and delicious, the tea was great and the service was friendly and helpful. AND we got 10% off the biggest crab sandwich ever at their restaurant up the road. Thanks.
Can highly recommend the 'Smidgen' boards and cocktails ! We had a party of four and four boards was plentiful and delicious too. Staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough. We will definitely be returning.
Outstanding what a wonderful chilled out place to sit and relax ,the staff were so warm and friendly we ended up going back 3 times in 1 week and will definitely return xx

St Ives the BCB is high on our list of recommendations. Popping in for a coffee, start of a pub crawl, pizza & cocktails. People watching and a drink after a day on the beach. Just perfect and the views, lovely.
Lovely place for a coffee and a bite to eat. Build your own bagel 🥯 is a lovely breakfast.
Pop in for coffee after a lovely walk around St Ives. Sat outside and enjoyed the view across the harbour. Coffee was good. The service was excellent from the friendly and chatty waitress. She was the "Costa Rican from London" as she put it, not any of the other staff from the other less favourable reviews.
This used to be an amazing wine bar with a huge selection of wines available but it appears to have either changed owners or just changed the concept. Now a small wine selection and cocktails. Food is available here now too which we haven’t tried yet so can’t review.
Service was quick but not anything outstanding- used to have some really chatty staff with lots of knowledge on wine!
Had drinks here on a number of days. Always a good experience with great views.
We had a lovely evening sat outside, enjoyed a superb pizza in a lovely setting overlooking the harbour. Excellent service and friendly staff.. They even do a 'any pizza and any cocktail' (from the menu) deal for £15 which was a real no brainer! Just watch out for those seagulls though!!
Food was lovely and the drinks were cold. All the staff were fantastic but a shout out to Chloe who was our server, she was polite and full of energy. Great service! Would recommend if your on a trip to St. Ives :)
We had BBB and build-your-own. Both are great. The portions are generous but not excessive. Poached eggs are of perfection. Friendly and polite service. Highly recommended.

Nice because of the decent sized al fresco space where you can people watch if that's your thing. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The menu is well balanced and affordable. Gotta recommend the eggs benedict of you're having breakfast, else swing by for a great dalgona on a hot day.
Amazing view and good service, nice drinks, very impressed by the iced coffee. Waffle was too sugary to eat. Everything else spot on, Beautiful views
