Needs to be seen. Highly recommend. Nice pub, even better restaurant. Amazing views, great food and staff. Went for a drive and found this place by chance, did not book, but still managed to get a table on a Saturday eve. Loved it so much, going back Thursday eve. see you then.

My wife and I went to pickwicks last night for our 20th wedding anniversary, And as soon as we got to the pub,we had a lovely warm welcome, and even though we were 15 minutes early, we were shown straight to our seat, we were greeted with a smile from our waitress, sorry we forgot her name, but she was attentive, without being in you're face, we soon ordered our wine and food, a great Australian black lable merlot, starters were the scallops for my wife, and mussels for me, my wife had lamb 2 ways, and I had the ribeye steak, we have been privileged enough to of eaten in some very fine restaurants in the past, and this gorgeous pub/restaurant is right up there with the best, the food was of an excellent quality, perfectly seasoned, and the sauces were some of the best we have had, particularly the sauce with the lamb mmmmmmm, it made for a perfect end to the perfect anniversary, Special thanks to all who made it a very special time, we live in sussex, and already plan to return

Always an amazing friendly and welcoming place! Certainly a place to enjoy the top rate accommodation to just relax and unwind while taking in the beautiful landscape views. Not forgetting to mention the superb pub and restaurant - absolutely fabulous

Restaurant review only. We visited with friends (their recommendation as they live in the area). The restaurant definitely didn't disappoint with fantastic dishes and attention to detail. Staff were friendly and attentive. Everyone on the table enjoyed their meals (starters and mains). Food was cooked to a high standard and you could watch the chefs prepare this from your table or look out the incredible view from the dining area across the moors out to the sea. We also loved the interior decoration and design. This created an incredible atmosphere to the pub.

Visited the restaurant only and cannot comment on the rooms. The restaurant was great. Service was really good and attentive to everyone's needs (including our 6 year old). While we had started the little one received her main meal which was brilliant. The food was amazing, well presented, fresh, tasty and worth every penny. The view from the restaurant was stunning as it looks over the Padstow/Rock bay. I would be really happy to come back again and recommend it to anyone.

Dined here a few days ago (second time) with family. 7 different courses, all perfectly prepared and very tasty. Table Service was excellent in every respect, and we were allowed to enjoy our meals without being hurried in any way. The House Martins swarming around the outside Pond were an added bonus. A very nice experience.

Highly recommend. We stayed three nights, food and service for breakfasts and evening meals was second to none. Bar area so comfortable and welcoming. Accommodation really lovely with stunning views of Padstow and Rock from our balcony. Everything was exactly as we needed it to be, so quiet and peaceful and we will definitely be back. Fabulous place. Huge thx 👍

We booked a party of 8 for dinner and were given a large table in the pub. The food was great and everyone enjoyed their meal. The fish with the fish and chips were enormous and the vegetarian curry particularly tasty. The two young boys really enjoyed the playground. Highly recommended for a family meal.

The rooms are stunning, the view is unmatched! Beds are super comfortable and big. Modern bathrooms and all the amenities and welcome touches. We only had breakfast, the ingredients were very fresh and everything was lovely!

We stayed for 2 nights and the room was lovely. Big comfy bed, loads of room, and a Huge shower. The view from the balcony is just beautiful, looking over Padstow and Rock. The staff were all polite and always smiling, and the evening roast dinner and breakfasts on both mornings were lovely. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

Lovely place but overpriced Liked · Lovely spacious room, overlooking the fields and the Camel Estuary. The location of the hotel is lovely, in the middle of nowhere, with nice walks immediately from the hotel, but only 20 mins drive to Padstow. Lovely staff. Disliked · It was very overpriced. Although the room was spacious and nicely designed, for this price I was expecting some more extras. For example, they provided only one small soap which you were meant to use for the sink and the shower/bath, which was annoying. Instant coffee and long-life milk provided which was disappointing. The food in the pub was OK but hugely overpriced (£22 for a very average curry and rice or a pie and chips (which I didn't try). Breakfast was nice but again average. If the hotel and pub were cheaper, I would highly recommend, but for the price I expected more.

Wonderful food with a stunning view! Need to book a table to eat inside, but walk- ins should get to eat at outdoor tables. We go whenever we get the chance. Haven't stayed, so can't comment on the rooms.

We had dinner here a few days ago and could not fault it, from the WOW view to the service and the delicious food, absolutely fab. It had a lovely buzz to it and although very busy the service was still seamless and very attentive. Thank you 😘
