Peter our host was a knowledgeable , efficient and friendly front of house manager, surrounded by his trusty waiting team. He also has wonderful chef and kitchen assistants , we had a really exceptional meal all three courses were very good. Especially when they managed to produce a GF Raspberry Soufflé for my Coeliac Wife made her night. When after the meal I asked if I could sit out side to smoke my Monte Cristo Petit Edmundo Cigar, he ushered us upstairs to a wonderful secluded roof terrace. He then furnished me with some of the best cognac I have had for a while. All in all the place exudes Quality, Elegance, Style and Excellence, if you are in St Helier you should really make the effort to eat there.

A high end but casual dining experience. The menus for both meat eaters and vegetarians are superb with plenty of choice and imaginative meals. An excellent wine list and it's good to be able to get a decent bottle of wine in a restaurant like this for under £50. All of the staff we interacted with were very polite and professional, the atmosphere is good (and fairly busy considering we arrived at 6pm on a Friday, very busy when we left), and the food was superb. Would definitely visit again.

We had a great dinner here last evening. A really delicious meal and the service was very prompt despite the restaurant being full. Great atmosphere. Booking strongly recommended! Do leave room for the raspberry soufflé for pudding. It takes a few minutes to be cooked but was absolutely delicious!

This place!!! Samphire delivered everything I expected and so much more. Best Dark and Stormy I’ve had for quite some time. The decor and ambiance were welcoming and very comfortable. The service A* bit the food was out of this world. I can’t even explain how incredible the truffle pasta was; heavenly. Filet steak for main cooked to medium rare perfection, just melted in my mouth. Definitely the best restaurant I have visited this year!

Great food. Great layout and atmosphere. But a little disappointing - we had been called twice to ask which menu, as the Great British Menu took time to prepare. But then they didn't have those details when we arrived. We were given 2 different menus where the price varied by £22... Then the plates the food is served on struggled to fit on the table... Whilst some of the staff were great, it was clear a lot of junior were on that evening.

Classiest place in Jersey: wonderful service from door to exit; fabulous cocktails; excellent food. Love the decor, staff uniforms and artwork. Probably our favourite place in St Helier.

Everything was cook well, near to perfection. An amazing and a very attending service. Wow factor is missing, and presentation and size of portions should be improve. But finally, it is a good place to enjoy culinary experience. From me 4.5 star. I'll be back, definitely.

Beautiful design and relaxing ambience. The set menus are a bit limited but good choices on the a la carte. Most dishes are barbecue grilled. The scallops (queen size) are delicious. Linguine carbonara was very well flavoured with nice smoky bacon. Lamb was a bit tough but the monkfish curry was amazing. Nice dessert list and good French cheeses. Definitely would return

What a lovely restaurant! The staff were very friendly and the service was super quick. The food was fantastic, one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten and the caviar was delicious. Will certainly be here again next time I’m in Jersey.

Best meal i have had in a while. Confident, tight menu but gave you great choice. Food was sensational. Scallop starter was exceptional. seafood was fresh and cooked/served so you could taste the flavours rather than distracted by a sauce. Wine list was extensive but great with hard to find wines at a good range of prices. Worth the trip, GO. Only tip - bring a jumper; AC is quite chilly.

By far the best meal we had on our visit to Jersey. Fantastic food in a lovely dining room at a very reasonable price (main courses are no more expensive than at many of the pubs we visited). We had a drink at the cosy bar before our meal and chatted to the friendly barman while he mixed up a very good negroni. Excellent advice was offered to help us make the most of the menu. Everything we ate was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and super tasty. Difficult to pick stand out dishes amongst all the great food but the katsu scallops are a dish I’ll long remember and the lobster thermidor is an old school classic brought right up to date. Service throughout the meal was professional, friendly and relaxed. Very highly recommended.

Monkfish. Staff say its been on the menu for years and every time they try to take it of the menu there are complaints by those that have had it before. It was excellent. Will definitely be going back next time in Jersey!

Definitely one of, if not the best restaurants in Jersey. Everything about this place is to a very high standard. The ambiance, the decor the lighting and service are all superb and of course the food. You can view into the kitchen and see the chef's working. Situated right in the heart of At Helier. We absolutely loved it and we will be returning.
