What a fabulous food and service! We had an amazing lunch at Roast today with my friend and his son. The place is super cosy with a natural feel to it and lots of light. The service was excellent. Joanna is amazing and extremely friendly, she did really go an extra mile for us despite being busy. Her coffee flat white made my day! We were very impressed with the menu. The food came quick and the presentation was amazing! My salad was super fresh, with the best quality ingredients, just delicious and ticked all the boxes for me. My friend loved their signature spit roast chicken. It was cooked to perfection and the option of having two different sides of his choice was very welcome and refreshing. Big thanks to the whole team and see you soon!
Great food every time. The full English. Real fast was plentiful and delicious. Good value too. Real- not tinned like some places - mushrooms, good quality bacon, coffee and toast included in the price. Really enjoyed our meal

Stumbled upon this when the first place we visited had us wanting to sit right next to other people and then was informed there was a 20 minutes wait.
Glad that happened as Roast is brilliant. Open from 08:00-11:30, a big range of breakfast and pancake choices and they seemed only too happy to accommodate customisation.
Plenty of seats available when we arrived, super-quick, super-friendly service and a decent cup of coffee too!

Great value and excellent quality breakfast assembled using good quality ingredients. It was very busy which is usually a good indicator (and was the case here) and we were very lucky to get the only table available at the time. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in St Helier. If you are looking for a traditional English breakfast, you will not be disappointed at all!

I love the food here, and it is my preferred breakfast/brunch cafe in the area. I did not feel very welcome there with my 2 year old son, though.

Always a good experience here. The waitress is very pleasant and does a great job. There's a decent selection on the menu, including all day breakfasts. Good food and service makes me return time after time.
Very friendly staff, quick to order and very tasty food. Even the halloumi was amazingly tasty and I'm Cypriot! Big portions as well. The only thing was that they may be short staffed therefore can't serve as well as they could.

Best place for a nice breakfast in town
I always have the Mac and Cheese, the only place in town I know that sells it. It's a cosy little cafe but it has a good turnover an is ideal for lunch in rush. If I'm on my own I usually sit on the high stools by the window but lately I've been sitting one of the tables for 2. The place is clean - as are the toilets. Food is good. May not be a good place to linger but rather to eat and go.
Absolutely amazing food! The Roast Big Breakfast is delicious and highly recommended. We also went there for lunch and I had the BBQ Brisket sandwich - possibly the nicest meal I've ever had. Definitely go here!
Me and my Family needed a breakfast spot close to our hotel so we tried Roast. We've now gone every day! Lovely food, great service. I reccommend the steak and chips for breakfast 😋
