John, Rebecca and their lovely crew couldn't do enough for us, starting with drinks on the terrace, to having dinner in the front restaurant overlooking the Havre Des Pas Lido. As there were 15 of us, an impromptu celebration for my folks 60th Wedding Anniversary (the official dinner we had on Saturday night at Gradees, this was a Monday), we had the whole front part of the restaurant to ourself. The meal choice from the menu was extensive, with lots more specials, specialising in Greek and Fish dishes, but good meat choices and options for vegetarians, all at reasonable prices (especially when you see the portion), and all very fresh. Even though only booking 24hrs in advance, as Rebecca had realised it was a special occasion, not only did she place decorations up including anniversary banners, balloons etc, she had bought a card and a present of z bottle of champagne, along with making an exceptionally large cake, more than enough for our party, guests in the hotel bar, and staff. Absolutely everyone was stunned at the lengths they had gone to, the quality of the food and drink, and value for money. If you get chance, visit, you won't regret it. It is a small, friendly, family run taverna so dont expect 'airs and graces', just a huge personal welcome

Made to feel very welcome by John & Rebecca. Nothing is too much trouble for them always there to help. The Greek Cuisine is the best and the English breakfast's are made with quality ingredients. We will definitely be returning.

Great location with an easy walk to St. Hellier or bus stop just outside. Just opposite the lido with lovely views over the water.
Hospitality is excellent so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food also very very good.

Sun 10.9.23. The festival was on which made it very busy. We'd booked a table for dinner & it was excellent. Lamb chops were gorgeous!

Fabulous food, wonderful staff and great ambiance. Will definitely go back when I'm next in Jersey.
Just finished an excellent meal. Every bit was delicious. My husband had lamb chops, I had lamb kebabs, we ended with baklava.

A great place to stay and have food. Room with a sea view and great food, breakfast and evening meal (lovely Greek food), location great, close to beach with its lovely Victorian Lido outdoor pool and near to town of St Helier with all its shops, bars and restaurants . Well recommended 😀

Just returned from a stay here and we can’t recommend it enough! The room was lovely and spacious, with a fantastic view, and the breakfast served each day was delicious. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the evening at the Greek Taverna and the food was gorgeous! Some of the best Greek food I’ve had. 10/10
This is a real gem. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is always buzzing. It's in an ideal location, and perfect for an after beach beer on the terrace! The rooms are clean and functional. The icing on the cake is the staff, and hosts, who are wonderful!

What a little gem. Food was out of the world, service was excellent and a friendly atmosphere. We stayed here for 3 nights, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to stay and eat. Thanks for a lovely stay.
The De L'Etang Guest House and Taverna is one of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed in. The owners are dedicated and have encouraged staff likewise. A very clean, comfortable and welcoming establishment whose resturarant gives excellent service and delicious food. The premises overlook the sandy beach and lido with far reaching sea views.
