There's not a lot to do in St Helier on a Sunday in February, so it was great to find Hugo's open and to get a warm welcome, and tasty food.
The Jersey beef burger portion isn't small, so be sure to bring an empty stomach and a healthy appetite
We had a little ( but special) party today, with a few children ... and was great... food was lovely, very tasty, staff very friendly and Hugo , the waiter who was taking care of our table was really helpful and created a very good atmosphere. Thank you everyone. Thank you Hugo

Whenever I come to Jersey this is my local! Love everything about the place, the staff, food, drink selection, people, decor and atmosphere! It's a gem of a place!

Cosman and his staff were amazing throughout the night - they were friendly, polite and very attentive making sure everything ran smoothly.
The buffet was incredible! Everyone at the party commented on it!

Just picked this venue on Google for a quick evening meal. But hey the place is lovely the staff are great, But the food was unreal. It was so good honestly.
order the traditional English food. fish and chips. it was surprisingly good especially the tartar sauce.
the ragout de fruits de mer was really good. is known as seafood stew, is a delicious and hearty dish that combines a variety of seafood in a flavorful broth. it is a comforting and satisfying dish that is perfect for a cozy night in.

Had Steak sandwich which was very nice. Excellent waitress service. Lunchtime visit so not much to say about atmosphere but nice decor. Overall a good dining experience i would recommend 👌

I had the mussels, mum and brother had steaks. All 3 meals were delicious. Best mussels I have had ever! We were sat inside originally but it got too warm so the staff were only too happy to help move us outside.

We have dinner by Hugo’s. Kind people and lovely meal. Fish and chips was great. The cocktails are good! Passion fruit is my favorite.

Amazing food and service. Atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. I also love the care and attention to presentation of everything thing, right down to the little jars of mayo and ketchup, with wood spoons to use them. Loved it and would recommend Hugo's to anyone visiting the quaint town of St. Helier
Superb little bar and bistro in the heart of town. The food was awesome and staff so very nice. The atmosphere just completed our visit. Indoor and outdoor tables just right for watching the world go by.

Only stopped here for breakfast in the morning but must say it is definitely worth it. The staff were super friendly and the food we have was lovely. Has a nice outdoor sitting area which includes ash trays.

Really great and attentive service from staff. Made a midweek catch up with friends feel special. Meal was lovely highly recommend the sea bass and pork belly special as well as the crispy calamari starter. Reasonable price too.
Amazing dinner at Hugos. It was a friends birthday and they made a plan to bring out an delicious brownie dessert and sang happy birthday. All covid guidelines were followed too which made us all feel safe. Thanks Hugos, we'll be back!
Such a great time at Hugo’s ! The manager let us have lunch earlier as we had un appointed at 12.30, he opened up the kitchen just for us and the fish & chips were AMAZING, the tartare sauce was a dream come true and everyone was so nice 😍 we clearly recommend if you have the opportunity to visit Jersey ✨ Thanks again, cheers, Ophélie, Nadine & Julie 🫶🏻
Recently enjoyed a family birthday meal here. This is our second visit and the food was very good and the vegans in our party were were well catered for with a choice of vegan options. Added bonus of a lovely dough ball vegan dessert. What makes for a perfect evening is that the staff are outstanding, they are so friendly and cheerful and deserve special mention. Thank you.
I had a really lovely evening with large group of friends. All our meals were spot on. We were waited on so so well, always asking us if we wanted more drinks. Big thank you to the staff for taking care of us. 10/10!!!!

My partner and I frequent this place at least twice a week, and we love it!
Food is consistently tasty and well presented, and the staff are always very friendly and attentive.
The staff already know our drink order before we've opened our mouths! Touches like that, especially for a Liberation pub, make such a difference.
