Nice cafe right on the beach. There’s a good menu selection of hot food and seafood and sandwiches. They do good coffee here too. There lots of outdoor seating on picnic beaches overlooking the beach. Good place to get a bite to eat and look at the sea. Public toilets next door.
We visited on a very busy sunny beach day! It was a bit of a wait and we were at first a bit surprised by the prices looking very steep ... but! ..... when the food came (understandably it was a long wait with so many lunch orders and them all being cooked freshly!) The portions were huge! One portion of chips easily satisfied 2 hungry 8 year olds! And the amount of Crab on the salad was extremely generous!
I was impressed that in such a busy service all the food was so well presented and all piping hot and freshly made!
We did have to wait and there is only outside seating but if you understand the operational challenges they must face and want freshly prepared fresh quality food well made then make sure you visit - can't recommend enough!
My only feedback is that we wish the inside seating was reopened and an evening dinner service resumed this venue is unique and amazing :)
Had dropped in for breakfast on a busy Bank Holiday Monday and to be fair we were not expecting much. We were blown away by the quality of the food! My husband and 2 sons had the full English breakfast brioche which had egg, sausage, bacon, hash brown, mushrooms and tomato. They declared it the best breakfast they had ever eaten and were extra appreciative of the runny yolk. Myself and my daughter had toast. You'd think toast was just toast? But the bread was absolutely delicious. Like bread used to be. Full of flavour and great texture. The coffee was one of the best I've had too. I can't recommend the food highly enough. And as for the view.. Wow! Where else are you going to get to eat your breakfast while watching horses playing in the sea? The view is to die for!
A nice peaceful place. The shop and restaurant has all the essentials you'll need for a days sunbathing. They do some lovely food there. Better than you'd expect. Lovely beach there as well with some nice views.
You're in an English seaside place, yes? You want greasy spoon cheap sausages and deep fried everything, right? Well, no, this is 2022. These folks know that and have come up with a clever menu. Clever because sausage, bacon etc is there for you - but top quality, loads of it and not greasy. Clever because there is also avo and poached egg available for the new generation and - excellent innovation- 3 times clever because served without cutlery in a brown recyclable brown box. ( and a brioche bun, you didn't think we ate poached egg with our fingers, did ya?)
I was a bit sceptical of the hole in the wall ordering and seemingly high prices but absolutely shouldn't have been. The Louisiana burger was the best burger I've had on the IOW so far!
Had a couple of drinks outside. Great Pimms. Dogs welcome inside. Lovely location by the beach.
Excellent burger and fries. Closes at 6pm. No local beers or ciders.
Still no inside seating. Still closes earlier than advertised. Cutlery is wooden, plates are cardboard boxes so all. in theory recycled (rather than reused).
Good coffee and they are using recycled cardboard containers for the brioche bacon rolls. Good call
Great place to atop and have a cream tea or something a bit stronger. Great views and friendly staff.
Great little cafe, do all sorts of food, and drinks, plenty of seating outside,

Pared down service for outdoor eating. Really good mid-walk brunch with great sea view. Lovely sunny day. Not sure how this would work on a wet day. Observed two matching silver range rovers with 'BAY' number plates parked outside. They seem to be doing well!
