I highly recommend The Vine. I am Vegan and also gluten free. This makes it very hard to eat anywhere. We have been here three times and all three times has been great. The food was amazing! On Mother’s Day, they made me a vegan/gluten free roast (I never get to eat a roast out). My roast was delicious, they even put yummy beetroot burgers with it. The manager told my husband that if we phone ahead they will get in any food for me. Nothing seemed to much trouble. I also love the atmosphere, all the staff are so friendly, always smiling. My 4 year old loved it there.
Thank you! You guys made Mother’s Day perfect for us. Xxxx
We were staying in St Helens and The Vine was a 2 minute walk up the road which was most handy!! The food was delicious (chips to die for!!), beer was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In fact, they were so helpful that, on a rare evening when we were eating in our cottage and had gone to The Vine for a drink beforehand, they gave us some sachets of sauces as we didn’t have any!! Looking forward to a return visit next year!!
Lovely, friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for one of our party who had food allergies. The food was gorgeous with generous helpings! Dog friendly as well. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again!
We visit family in St Helens all the way from the states every year now for a few. We visit this place almost every evening for either just a beer or paired with food to wind down. The people are great, the drinks are great, the food is great. We all love it here.
Great food great atmosphere friendly staff I would highly recommend it
Warm and friendly pub . Fantastic food . Families made welcome by Gerald & suzi and the staff . Would recommend it to anyone .
Absolutely fantastic. Been there for dinner a few times but went in for lunch today and it was lovely ( as expected). Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Will be going back again for sure!
Lovely little pub, with an excellent position in St Helens, Isle of Wight. Menu looks great but didn't get chance to sample this time, varied chose of beers and ciders available too, would recommend a visit to anyone.
Their lunches for senior citizens are great value + taste pretty good too. Dog friendly too so a good place to re-fuel after a walk on nearby St Helens Duver
Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere in village pub. Good food always excellent and freshly cooked.
Great good. Friendly service. Great place to have a good meal out that does not cost a bomb.
Had a few dinners here now and never been disappointed... friendly staff .. keep up the good work 👍

Great food, pleasant and helpful staff and a VERY decent pint - nuff said!
Fantastic Bands - best on the Island :-)
Friendly staff - excellent food & prices
:-) :-) :-)
Great food, great service and lovely friendly staff
Food was to die for!!!!
My partner has the nachos with bbq pulled pork on top - she couldnt get enough😂
I had the Calamari - and even with the stinking cold I've got - the sauce was amazing.
Partner had the sausage and mash, but was legitimately a bit full from too much nachos to finish it G but said it was amazing. I had the liver and bacon with mash, but far one of the best gravies/ju's I've had.
Super super dog friendly, made our little sky feel welcome-brought her her own water bowl, and then a little later she got brought a nice biscuit bone treat - not necessary but these types of things need to be mentioned.
Great service, above and beyond with the food - and great with the doggies.
10/10 will be back next time we visit the isle.
X
Popped in for a little bite to eat. And had the black pudding scotch egg and some cheesy chips. Random I know. Very nice food and incredibly dog friendly. Will definitely be returning one day for something for dinner.
Great food, dog and family friendly. We were lucky to find a table for our group of 9 as another family were just leaving. Food took while to arrive but was worth the wait. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Lovely food!! We stayed in St Helens and we had to keep coming back food and service was amazing dog friendly to we also went to there fun pub quiz if I was in the isle of white would defo vist again
It's been a while since I used this pub and since then undergone a transformation.
A managerial and extensive decor changes have brought the pub back to life. Staff are polite and cheerful...and get the job done; food is well prepared and presented and in general the vibe is good.
Live music on Friday nights gives it a kick.
Will definitely go back.
We were a table of 9 (5 kids under age 5, and 4 adults), we went for dinner in the pub twice and on a very wet day they also did take out from the normal menu so we could have at our holiday home. Service was amazing, food was good. We recommend this pub to anyone, especially people on holiday like us, they were brilliant
Great pub with a nice atmosphere and a good selection of food and drink. The food was really nice and huge portions. The staff were great and friendly and the food came pretty quick. Definitely worth a visit. Worth knowing there’s a hidden garden out the back too.
Came back a second time today and was even better than before. The vine burger was amazing if you’ve a big appetite.
Took my family for my birthday and our wedding anniversary while on holiday at Nodes Point Holiday Centre. We all had excellent meals at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and the pub was full, always a good sign.
Ate here one afternoon and one evening whilst staying near.
Lovely food, well priced and nice staff. Even gave our dog a carrot..
Thanks all
What a pleasant surprise. Our first visit to The Vine. We arrived to eat late on Sunday evening, and it was packed. The friendly staff warned us there may be a 45 min wait due to a staff shortage, but the food was served in half that time. We both opted for the Chicken and Chorizo Tagliatelle and were very pleased with our choice. Our meal was hot and cooked to perfection. It was a lovely meal with the best garlic bread I've tasted in a long time. Now looking forward to our next visit. Thank you.

Beautiful pub. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Delicious steak and chunky chips, peas, onion rings, tomato 🍅😋👌Well done!
August 2021.
My wife and I had a very pleasant evening meal, the staff were very welcoming and attentive, minimal but adequate covid precautions were being used.
An extensive bar also has real ale available.
The menu had the usual food available and there was a specials board (frequently changed) with more specialised meals, as is the desert menu....
All our food was served quickly and piping hot. A very nice comfortable pub/restaurant we highly recommended you try..
Dog friendly, good food, guest ciders and Isle of Wight ales. What's not to like?
2022: Still very dog friendly. There is a garden out the back too.
Food is fairly good and inexpensive. Sea bass and cassoulet was good, I recommend a side of garlic bread. Gregory's tagliatelle was very rich and more than most people could eat, but tasty.
At lunchtime the sausage sandwich was excellent. Homemade pies were huge and filled with beef. The pastry was a bit overcooked but not quite pickaxe territory. The fishcakes were OK but not Thai. Chips were excellent, everything was freshly cooked or prepared.
Not a huge range of beers or ciders, Razorback or Green King IPA and Inches cider.
Staff are warm and welcoming, very helpful too. Still a nice place to visit.
Great grub, great service and great value.
They're also running a slimming menu if that's your sort of thing.
Two lovely chirpy girls behind the bar and polite chirpy Waitress, what more could you want.
The good lady had a Roast Pork dinner and l had a Gammon,
both very nice.
I wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend.
Thank you.
Nice village pub, pleasant staff. Good real ale. Food was good too and not to pricey. Dog friendly. Used by the locals so must be OK.
Come to this pub every year I come on holiday to the IOW. It never fails to please us. Excellent beer, excellent food , friendly efficient staff in lovely "real pub " atmosphere & all at reasonable prices, will return again next year.
The Vine food is fantastic. The Sunday Roast was delicious, go along and try it., the best Sunday dinner I have had, there staff very obliging. Selection of beers are good too. The Chocolate Brownie is the best I have had for a long time You must try it. Really lovely pub. When visiting the island its a must visit.
Great pub 👌 loved the food looked after us well while on our holiday 😋 cooled us down with nice beer and wine on a bonkers hot week
Really good "walk in" Sunday afternoon meal for two. We're locals from Bembridge but not been to the Vine since lock down and the change of owners. Menu is really varied and great value for money. Atmosphere really nice and staff really friendly. A word to the wise don't have the "special board" brie wedges (enormous and delicious) and then expect to do justice to the house burger "The Vine Burger" the meal was huge! But really delicious 😋 We will be visiting again!
