The best Chinese in my opinion food is really fresh and always on point .. I used these for the last 4 years and won't go anywhere else as they haven't the quality or taste like the Hong Kong

Rating a 4/5 because the food is a 4/5. It’s really good, but it isn’t the best in St. Helens. I’m not sure if they offer it anymore but they used to offer a pick ‘n’ mix service where you picked up a box and filled it with whatever you liked for a set price - always thought this was a great idea because you could try a bit of everything. Delivery is available and you can also collect but parking can be a bit hard work.

Fancied a change of Chinese from silver palace, so looked for reviews on here and it said Hong Kong was a buffet style service with a choice of foods for you to place in a container for £4 as long as the lid shuts. They do salt and pepper boxes also, my guilty pleasure, and we weren't disappointed with trying this place out. Good size portions reasonable price but be aware it can be very busy, which is always a good sign that the place is well worth the wait!
Had the salt and pepper box was really good. Ask for plain noodles as everything in salt and pepper its alot for the taste buds. They also do a buffet meal you pay a certain amount for a tray an you fill it as much as you like that's my next try

Fantastic takeaway. Never been disappointed with anything bought from here. Quick service and reasonable price. Good portions and always have plenty left for the following days lunch. Would recommend this over any takeaway I've used before.
Love this Chinese. They have a buffet bar at the back of the shop. You can fill a foil tray with whatever you want for £4.50. Knocked a star off as on busy nights its takes them ages to serves people. Tonight it was full and only 2 serving. They were apologetic though.
This is the nicest Chinese I have ever had. The chilli beef was crispy and sweet and the Singapore vermicelli was lovely plus they do proper chippy chips. 5 *****
