Came here to get breakfast and get some bits done, laptop and pads out. Food was ok, but the service was fab. No problem with us working away and found a nice quiet spot. Kim and Colin were very helpful ensuring the caffeine supply was consistent!

Lovely pub with outside seating, full Carvery and other food available. Lovely staff that even when mad busy treat you like you're the only one there. Set in beautiful historic surroundings with a large lake and great walks. There is also a hotel on this site and it's close to easy routes to sever
Never had a roast dinner like it for a long time. The roast potatoes were just right, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The turkey was moist. The mash potato was lovely. The staff was lovely and polite. Cant fault it.Will definitely go again.
Kirsty, the server, turned a good meal into an excellent experience. She checked in on us - chatted a bit - and was super “on it” with the service (drinks, dessert menus, and the bill, etc., all arrived quickly). We all really appreciated her cheerfulness too!
Decided to go last minute on a Saturday night around 7pm for a carvery. There was 5 of us. It wasn't busy so I was worried that everything may have been out for a while but they brought out fresh, hot food and they had lamb which is my personal favourite. They even gave us extra yorkshire puddings.
Lydia served us tonight, she made sure that we had everything we needed. She is indeed a great asset to your business. Btw, the meal was excellent as well.
