It is a nice place for a cheap restaurant to spend your afternoon. I mean, who knows the chain of restaurants they know what they get. It is a nice place to start your afternoon and always seems chilled with nice ordinary people that are happy and friendly. The staff are always nice and polite. The place served food, beers , cocktails , and a great wine selection.
Outdoor and indoor and close to the shopping area so after shopping like crazy you can stop there and chill with a glass of wine while enjoying your day.
The Glass House is one of the better Wetherspoon pubs, very big inside, always busy, there isn't too much wrong with either the drinks or food, the only problem for some people would be that the toilets are up two flights of stairs, there is a disabled toilet downstairs but it's not really private is it is in view of everyone. This pub is always a go-to if I am in St Helens.
Good pub, decent layout but was quiet when I arrived there. I had a nice chat with the staff who are just lovely and the disabled toilets were kept clean. Good spot for wings and cider!
We sat outside for a drink in the warm weather then saw someone with fish, chips & mushy peas with buttered bread. It looked lovely so we ordered some. We were not disappointed. Definitely going back 👍
We went to one of our local weatherproof st helens Town center ordered three small meal chips with curry chips cold curry warm.garlic small late same same bread no garlic on it as my bbq pizza chicken well yes red onion with cold pasta tomato sauce on no cheese not like other weatherspoon husband chicken tike like warm he portion chip cold. Staff lovely a big improvement on tables being clean but most be different chef and noone ask was meal very disappointed 😥
Can’t beat a good fry up, plus it has the nicest ladies toilets in St Helens! Staff really helpful and considerate, checking on us throughout our visit
Outside seating too so we sat in the sun.

My son took me there my lunch prices was so reasonable meals was so.lovely and staff were so nice and children's play area was great for kids.
Although the place was busy ..there was quick service and all items on menu available
Brilliant team of staff but they were unfortunately run of their feet.... they could do with management helping by putting a couple more people on .
