I had the full sized English Breakfast and a very generous pot of tea.
The chef had it on the table in no time and it was really hearty and well put together. A side order of toast rounded it off perfectly.

A hidden gem not far from Rainford. My friends and I had a lovely afternoon tea here recently. Everything was lovely and we were well looked after. Highly recommend.
Lovely place to come for a piece of cake and a coffee. Nice staff and great service.
Another visit to Fir Tree (27.01.22), they'd stopped serving hot food about half an hour before we got there because of staff shortage however the chef saw how disappointed we were and went and made a full breakfast

Lovely place- staff are really friendly, well-decorated, full of character and serving good food with generous portions. They do cake to take away too!
Outdoor and indoor seating & pet-friendly. It's a good idea to book ahead, just incase.
The shop part seemed quite small, not sure if that was due

Great little place for sausage bacon breakfast bap and a cup of tea. Dropped in after motorbike round out. Tables outside if sunny and nice farm shop / cafe atmosphere inside. Good selection of cakes as well
Tucked away a little. But worth a trip to this very dog friendly cafe. Good mix of food. Definitely need more veggie and vegan options. But staff super friendly and helpful. We arrived as the kitchen was about to close. But they went out of the way and reopened it for us!

Came over from the US to visit my boyfriend and we came to this place for brunch and coffee:) we really enjoyed the environment of Fir Tree and ended up staying here just to relax and chat by the fire for much longer x)
Lovely quiet place, very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and nice food. All round a pleasant place to visit. Lovely building too.
