We have been coming to the restaurant since my children were very young... Steven and all the team have always made sure my children are happy... Steven even created a special dish for my son because he was very reluctant to eat anything remotely spicy...To this day its still his special dish created just for him...Thank you for going the extra mile!!!
Me and my girlfriend always eat there when we want Indian food we've tried most of the others still the best by far and the staff are amazing. Would recommend it to anyone.

We visit Balti spice regularly and can honestly say that Steve and his staff are very welcoming and friendly on every occasion. The food is wonderful and ideal as I'm currently following slimming world and they cater for everyone with dedicated slimming world meals.

I love this place. Steve and his team really do look after you so well. You feel so welcome and they love helping you find something on the menu you will really enjoy. Can't praise them highly enough, yes you could pick fault but I find it a quirky perfect place for us.

Balti Spice recommendation.. Travelled from 'The Palace' with Ste, Rob & Eric. NEVER had cause to complain about the quality of the food, it's preparation, delivery or quality after upwards of 100 visits. All 3 remember my family by name which is a rarity at most restaurants. Try the different variations of rice instead of your normal. A half garlic half cheese nan is also a must.

My family have been eating here since it opened and there are no better hosts in st.helens than ste and his sons at the balti. this is by far the best indian food ive eaten and is the bench mark for any that i try. the place is small but that adds to the whole atmosphere of it being warm and friendly with ste treating everyone like family. the menu will please anyone and if your stuck for what to have just tell ste what type of dish you usually have and wait to see what he creates for you, you wont be disappointed. the balti spice is making its mark as one of st.helens best restaurants.
This is far and away the best curry house I know. The food is excellent and not greasy- try the flavoured boiled rices rather than the pilau rice. Steve and the lads are excellent hosts. I have friends from around the world who, whenever they are in the country, ask to go here at least once on their trip!!! I wholeheartedly recommend a visit!
One of the most friendly places you can go and eat. If your stuck about what to have, don't be shy about asking what is good on the menu but the answer you're likely to receive is ' everything'. It's quite small but that only adds to the place. Very reasonably priced. Try it, you'll love it.
Great food, great service, great price. We have had take aways before from here but had never eaten in. There is a wide range of food on offer and the quality is unrivalled in this area. The waiters are discreet, polite and knowledgeable and I couldn't believe the price. We have paid a lot more for worse food service and atmosphere. We will definitely be going back.

It's been nearly 3 years since I have eaten here and after thoroughly enjoying my first meal all that time ago, I wondered why my return visit had been left so long. So I booked a table. I have just left with an exceptionally full belly and a smile on my face. Lamb chops, perfection. All the other dishes I sampled tonight also excellent. Although the restaurant is quite small, it adds to the character and the atmosphere. This restaurant is a MUST VISIT! I promise I will be back much sooner this time round. Great friendly service with fantastic food. Bravo!

Hands down best curries I've ever had in the northwest. Highly recommend both the Goan masala and Sindi Korma. Food is spectacular, service matches! Decor is a little dated but only adds to the experience!

Can't fault this place I've ordered numerous times.I ordered 1 busy night, and they had a driver phone in sick. My meal that night was cold. Phone them, and the manager explained what happened. I said he would give me a free meal next order just phoned and he remembered me to his credit he given me free meal so if you love Indian food this place is a must 5 stars all round best in St helens

Absolutely spectacular eating experience. Ability to order a Korma as hot as you like while retaining all the flavour and a Vindaloo as mild as you wish

What a restaurant. We order a take away, and I was blown away by the flavour and good quality. I went for Chicken Kathmandu and wow, that was spicy but sweet. Best curry I've had in a long while.

Came with my partner food was delicious also the service was excellent.
Always order from here due to having the best vegetarian options, went inside for a sit down meal for the first time in a couple of years and it was even nicer than delivery. The staff are so helpful and recommended dishes which they thought would suit our tastes if we fancied trying something different. Only a little restaurant, thankyou for a lovely time :)
