Popped in this lovely cafe today with my mum and my 2 little dogs, we had a lovely warm welcome and the most amazing kale & butternut squash soup, locally baked bread and cheese it was delicious will definitely be returning soon and will be recommending this place to all of our campers!

Called in this afternoon with my two dogs. Such a lovely warm welcome 😊. The cream tea was yummy. Just lovely and so nice that you are dog friendly — thank you — you’ll see me again later in the week

Delicious cake and hot chocolate, and really friendly service. We will definitely be booking our car into the nearby garage again soon so that we have an excuse to return.

Beautiful place with lovely surroundings, the abbey, a watermill & lake. The almond croissants 🥐 were another level.. melt in mouth. Nice for a lighter breakfast. Nice courtyard style outdoor area to enjoy the sun.

Great little cafe and gift shop next door to the Abbey. Lovely staff serving great coffee and cakes. Preserves and chutneys along with other local delights on sale. Also a small gallery on site too. Well worth a look.

An excellent cafe providing tasty food full of fresh ingredients and tasteful dressings. The coffee is tasty and nice to have a flat white that is not served in a thimble. The staff are really friendly and the setting is cosy. There are nice displays of craft work from local artisans and a small museum recording the history of the Abbey. Well worth a visit.

Delightful village cafe, coffee shop, tearoom, museum, art gallery and craft shop. The food is so delicious and the staff are really friendly and helpful. If you're visiting St Dogmaels, a trip to the ruined Abbey is a must, followed by a visit to the Coach House. You won't be disappointed 😌

Service can be slow but coffee is very good and the staff are very friendly. Nice cakes and prices are very reasonable. If you have children make sure you have 50p ready as they have donation box for bread for the ducks

Enjoyed scones, butter, and jam at this cafe, and was actually the best scones I have ever tasted. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and welcomed our two dogs who were allowed to sit at our feet. This was so very pleasant for all of us.

The Coach House is a café in the heart of the village. Given its location next to St Dogmaels Abbey it is popular with visitors. On Tuesdays, or any other day a market is being held in the village, it can get quite busy. It’s a great place to pop in for a bite to eat - whether you’re in the mood for a toasted sandwich or a hearty soup. The friendly team of staff are willing to take your order. Dogs are welcome, so don’t be surprised to see owners with their pets enjoying a cup of coffee. There is also a gift shop that stocks a range of local gifts and produce. Make sure you check out the museum - it is free and provides some fascinating insights into village life through the ages. If you’re in the village be sure to visit the Coach House and buy some freshly ground flour from nearby Y Felin )’The Mill’.
