We go to Cardigan every year, and now The Ferry Inn will be on our ‘must visit’ list. We took our fairly new retired greyhound with us and all the staff were so understanding and helpful. We sat on the decking as the views are stunning and the sun was out! I believe the manager / owner even brought over an umbrella for our table as Elba doesn’t do well in the heat, not to mention the numerous fusses. The food was fantastic, I had seafood stew and my boyfriend Gammon, we really really enjoyed the whole experience. To top it off, Poppit Sans is just down the road so when we finished we headed there for a stroll. A fantastic place, with fantastic people!

Thank you for yet another delicious meal in a beautiful location. All the staff were so friendly. There is a separate vegan menu with 3 main courses available and they even put an extra vegan special on the menu (the butternut squash ravioli - which was amazing). We wish you were closer to Fishguard so we could visit more often and both have a drink :)

Gorgeous food, beautiful setting and it really is twinned with the Tardis. Food was hot and plentiful with the steak burger and blue cheese being one of the best I've had in a while.

We recently visited for dinner as a family group of ten and they accommodated us very well. We were there to celebrate a wedding anniversary and the manager gave the couple celebratory glasses of champagne such a lovely gesture. They really were kind in acknowledging the occasion and provided great service, we all enjoyed the food. Location is nice by the estuary although weather was a bit dull the day we visited. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Well placed, by river estuary. Can be missed when driving along the road. Free parking on the road after 6pm. Great food and service. Average prices: £70 starter and main for 2, without desert. Friendly and helpful staff.

The food was absolutely amazing, we had the steak and burger for mains then some ice-cream and the Bakewell for dessert. Maybe the best steak and burger that we've eaten whilst out and that's saying something! It was a dog friendly pub as well so we were able to bring our puppy with us as well which was really nice.

Completely unaware of the recent praise in local articles as we came across The Ferry Inn by chance on our first day on holiday in the area. The very attentive staff managed to find us a table of 4. The food didn't disappoint, and the Ferry Inn will be without question our first port of call next year.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Food was fresh and tasty, atmosphere and view was impeccable. Service was fab and smiles all round from every staff member we interacted with. Recommend booking!!! Only nit pick is parking can be a little chaotic. Overall what a Gem!

Well this was a pleasant surprise, we wanted a quick meal . I’m sorry we didn’t expect too much BUT this was amazing possibly the best Roast dinner out ever. The four of us each had the roast option beef pork chicken and vegetarian . Everything was quality the carrots even the green kale was lovely. We were on holiday and went for coffee liqueur and pudding so came to £35 per head . The staff were attentive and jolly . Dog friendly which suited us . I have no affiliation with The Ferry but was bowled over by this trip an excellent start to our few days away. Thank you

Friendly local pub in a beautiful river front location. The plaice and sea bass fillets were delicious, great flavours in the accompanying sides.

We had such a lovely roast at the ferry inn. The staff were welcoming and chatty and the food was really, really delicious. Great vegetarian option and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return. We had a lovely walk on poppit sands before hand to work up an appetite - all in all a perfect start to our holiday. We had our pup with us and she was welcomed into the dinning area which we loved, the view of the river is stunning also 😁

Stopped by The Ferry Inn for a drink after a long day of riding. Parking was easy for me (not busy + on motorcycle) but seems limited otherwise. Place itself is lovely, of course location is stunning. Bartenders were nice and when I asked I could leave my phone with them to charge.

The best food I've had in Wales! We went on a quiet Friday lunchtime so the owner was really attentive to us, we had a beautiful table that overlooked the river but the entire venue was gorgeous. I had the Glamorgan sausage which was absolutely incredible: delicious food and very generous portion sizes. You pay a bit more here but its well worth it.

Visited for our 8th anniversary and loved it. The staff were amazing. So lovely, even gave us a glass of prosecco to celebrate which was super kind of them. The food was so good, a big thank you to the chef and all the team. We will definitely visit again 💕

What a place to have a pint, or a meal, but I didn’t have dinner there so I can only speak to the beauty and perfection of sitting on the terrace with a pint and watching the boats and bird go by in silence. The service is friendly and the staff are warm and welcoming. The reverend James flows aplenty. Basically it’s a cracking place for a drink with a view and I suspect a very decent restaurant too.

Unexpected fantastic find on our travels along the west coast of Wales. Good food at a reasonable price, friendly engaging staff and a lovely setting on the riverbank. Will definitely be going back when we're anywhere near there again.
