Lovely find in the middle of St. Davids. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, this is for you. The staff are fantastic, they make you feel at home and very welcome. The food isn't the cheapest but it's delicious. excellent quality and presented beautifully. You really get what you pay for here, and you'll find dishes you won't come across elsewhere.

We stopped in here for lunch one day and the food was amazing. It was a choice of BBQ fish, meat, tofu or halloumi all served with salad and flatbread. Everything was so delicious and well presented. We also tried some of the homemade cakes after our meal which were all very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We visited the shop upstairs after lunch and couldn’t resist buying a few things. Really wanted to go back for the evening tasting menu but we didn’t have time on our short holiday. Would highly recommend.

Incredible restaurant. I love what they stand for in terms of their purpose using locally sourced or foraged seasonal foods. The food was superb, we had the 6 course tasting menu and every course was exquisite, perfectly prepared, cooked and presented. The staff were great and we loved our experience. I'd highly recommend a visit. Wishing you the best of luck for the future.

What an amazing restaurant! Excellent dinner, really good imaginative food locally foraged or sourced and helpful knowledgeable staff. Great atmosphere and fully booked. Several customers called in on spec but were turned away so do book ahead. Rustic chic decor. Superb!

One of the tastiest meals I’ve ever eaten! We enjoyed a wonderful evening here - great atmosphere, delicious food, and such friendly service. The Head Chef, Jon, is incredibly creative and talented in designing such a unique menu week after week. A must visit if you’re in the area!

We booked a hedgerow foraging which was hosted by Julia. She was wonderful at explaining things as we went along with a great sense of humour. We spent the rest of our time in Wales looking at everything around us on the coastal path and whether we could eat it. I would highly recommend this course. We also stopped off for some drinks and cake in the cafe which were delicious. in particular the seaweed brownie and lemon, elderflower and poppyseed cake. John was very knowledgeable about seaweed too and gave us some great advice on what to do with it if we foraged it. We also looked around their shop upstairs which had some great bits for presents to take home. Thank you so much for making our trip special.

First time for a foraging tasting menu which was liberating! Ate things we’d never tried before. Thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. The staff were great and very helpful. Would definitely go again and recommend to everyone!

A terrific experience, with dishes ranging from good to superb. Minor niggles kept it from being excellent which I’d have hoped for at the price. Let’s get those out the way: the restaurant was much too hot and I was uncomfortable throughout. I asked to have the radiator turned off and unfortunately that wasn’t possible. The ambient noise was quite loud for me (though I am autistic) possibly because of the hard surfaces; but I wore headphones and that was fine. The savoury food was all slightly too salty for me and the sweet food all slightly too sweet. Finally, I would have liked to see foraged food take a starring role: I was particularly excited about eating a variety of seaweed, but found it limited to garnishes or subtle components. Now, onto the good stuff. None of the dishes were close to being bad: all brought something interesting and exciting. There were also very slight variations from the printed menu I had been given, which added some extra excitement to the experience. The food was presented beautifully on very nice crockery, and the portion sizes were good: I left feeling quite satisfied. My highlights were the lavercake, which was divine paired with some heritage tomatoes; the tofu, which was firm and flavorful; and the home-made kimchi, which was so good I kept a little ramekin, and ate a bit after every course, including the final. The sorrel granita also gets a special shout out. Best of all was the artichoke dish, which was astonishing. Every mouthful I couldn’t believe how delicious all over again. If I was being very picky, I would say the beetroot wasn’t needed as part of that dish, and a little more parsnip would’ve been better for providing the sweet note. Overall, the experience was exciting, the food was good, and I enjoyed the aesthetic and values of the place. I would definitely go again in a different season.

Amazing! Absolutely loved our visit to this little gem. The tasting menu was superb, the staff friendly and knowledgeable and what a lovely touch for the chef to come out and speak each table individually. I think this is my favourite meal ever and I want to move to St David's. I will definitely be back, thank you for a perfect evening.

Had a lovely meal at this wonderful restaurant on Saturday night. I was fairly confident that we were going to have a good meal due to reviews and images I'd seen but it was exceptional in every way - way beyond my expectations. The building has lovely old fashioned glass frontage with door in the middle and a rustic chilled vibe inside. Light and airy with very cool music playing nicely in the background. They definitely have the music right - nobody felt the need to raise their voice so all the chatter was private which made for a relaxing evening. The tasting menu was generous and incredibly good value at £58. Each course was of michelin star standard in our opinion and impressively inventive. It's hard to pick stand out courses but the venison and Damson/Blackberry cake were both amazing. Great bottle of South African red too (about £27 I think) - very good value. Last but not least - the staff were charming, friendly and super efficient. From the moment we walked through the door until we left they made us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, it's comfortably the best restaurant we've been to in Pembrokeshire - we genuinely can't wait to get back there (plotting the 5 hr drive to get there as I write this).
