Amazing fish and chips! Quick service, great menu, nice choice of ciders. Can eat it or take away. Toilets nice and clean. Definitely a go to place for food in St David's! Oh and curry sauce is really tasty! 😄
Lovely portions of chips by this fish bar and a decent size as well! My partner who ordered the meal commented on how lovely the server was and how friendly he was. Good spot for a quick find to have a spot of lunch!
We visited at David’s over the bank holiday weekend. Visited Peters Plaice on Monday tea time. Food was fresh and hot and good sized portions. Staff pleasant. A little wait for food but understandable due to how busy it was. Would highly recommend.
Clearly some kind of fish and chips Mecca! Punters will queue for ages for a neatly wrapped piece of the traditional fare. The chaos is managed well and cheerfully by a white dreadlocked gentleman. It looks like in the summer if you're not there by around 7-7.30, you may not get to the top of the qu
Very good chips and amazing curry sauce! Lovely staff too, really cheerful and attentive. The place is a lot bigger than I knew, I've grown up coming to St David's and only ever used this place as a takeaway. But we went indoors this time and it really opens up! Can have a sit down meal with a plate
We had fish and small chips and ate in, there is a lovely clean, well laid out restaurant to the rear that they should advertise better. The chips were really well cooked, the fish was cooked to perfection with really crispy batter, the staff were very efficient, couldn't ask for more, well maybe a
A perfect spot to indulge in a fish and chip supper. The cod was fresh, the batter was crispy and light (the gluten free option my wife had was incredible!). Chips unbeatable and expertly seasoned. Lovely sides including mushy peas and coleslaw. Good selection of local beers and cider while you wait
Great fish and chips. Fish was very fresh and batter to fish ratio was just right. Chap behind the counter was a bit grumpy. Wouldn't hurt to smile.
Funny little place tucked down the side of Lloyds Bank. If you're in the mood for non-pub fish & chips they are OK. Fish & chips come separately which is a bit odd but no big issue. Fish could have been placed in the box with more care. Evening sunshine & can of bitter shandy helped.
Delicious fish and chips, with lots of options and extras. Thought the portion size was good though some in our group would have liked larger fish portions. Would have liked to be able to preorder (they don't offer that in the busier months), but would definitely go again.
Just your average fish and chips restaurant. Perfect for lunch on wet day because there's setting round the back. Food is cheap and come's quick. Would recommend.
Best Gluten Free fish and chips I've had!!
