Lovely slices of cake and hot drinks in a beautiful building. There's more seating upstairs via a spiral staircase with views of the cathedral. Very quiet and relaxing when we visited, possibly due to the foul weather.
St David's was beautiful and we had coffee and a cake ..... home made and gorgeous
Slow service (understaffed probably) we waited a good 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive after ordering and paying. But really outstanding flat white. Ambience is ok, but nothing special or historic.
Arrived just before closing abd they kindly found food for is.
Just had 2 roast beef with apple crumble and custard on a day out with the wife and very impressed with the quality and low cost of the food. Would definitely recommend
wonderful café in the cathedral, does lovely coffees and cakes. i would definitely recommend lunch here as i had the nost wonderful soup here not too long ago. although the cathedral is old fashioned, the refectory adds a lovely bit of modern/rustic vibes to the cathedral. if you have a spare 10 min
Had a wonderful lunch, very fresh produce, well seasoned, highly recommended! Very nice location gives it the extra edge.
My friend and I went for lunch and were not disappointed. It was lovely, the ham was very tasty. We enjoyed our meal. Thankyou to all xx
Great two course Sunday lunch at The Refectory this weekend.
Generous portions, excellent quality roast meats and generally great value for money.
Highly recommended.
