Went on recommendation from friends.. really great place.. the menu is small with all locally sourced produce which I love.. had haddock fish cakes for starter, my friend Jacquie had the field mushroom.. gorgeous!!! We then both had ribeyes with seasonal vegetables.. but just had to have the chips tossed in truffle oil !!! 😍.. we were fortunate to be sat next to the lovely owners Neil and Ruth who told us all about their wonderful place!! If you are in St Davids you should not miss a chance to go to this gem .. highly recommend it.. will 100% be going again.. oooo lemon posset and the local cheeses, crackers and chutney was to die for!!! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ» proud to be Welsh !

Best beef pie I have ever tasted and the truffle chips were very tasty. Will definitely eat there again if I am ever up there in Pembrokeshire again Took my family there for lunch and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. Fully recommend this restaurant. And yes, you have to book in advance. We were very lucky to get a place for 5 after 15 minutes wait. The owners tried their best to find room for us.

St Davids Kitchen has become one of our favourite dining venues and fully deserves the 5 star rating. The interior has been transformed and is now full of character and local charm. Food is sourced locally and presented so creatively that you cannot help being impressed. The meats are always cooked to perfection and we especially like the sirloin and fillet of Welsh Black Beef. SDK have accumulated the best selection of gins from miles around and some of the best staff. A truly remarkable and memorable venue for a drop in for a drink or for a rather special meal. Well done to Neil and the team - we love the personal touch and feeling valued. We will be back soon.

Fabulous food and great staff, we have spent a lot of time in St Davids and Solva over many years, we have eaten at some brilliant places but St Davids Kitchen has taken the eating experience to the next level. If you plan to try this place, book well in advance and you will enjoy a great night out.

My friend and I had a lovely catch up and lunch here today. The sea bass was excellent and the hogget was moist and succulent. Return visit for sure . Great, local food, friendly staff.

Had the lobster and fillet steak which was really well presented and cooked to my liking. Blue fillet steak and a lobster that was so sweet with a thermadore sauce. My wife had the fillet steak which she also enjoyed. Atmosphere was a bit muted but I suppose that was down to the people in there. At least we were happy inside. Reccomend this place for the food, the staff were very young but polite and helpful.

We had two meals here out of four in total in St David’s. The meals at Gin & Kitchen were top notch and easily the best we had during our stay, Lobster is recommended.

Stumbled across this place while heading to another place we had booked for food... The food smelt so good that we asked if there was a table free + my am I glad that we did instead of going for your bog standard bar meal. Best food have had in a long time, service + staff were great, attention to detail was spot on. Cracking find which we will definitely return to next time we are in St David's.. πŸ‘πŸ‘ Date of visit Fri 3 March 2023.

Really excellent seafood, friendly service and superb spirits from their own distillery (the rum in particular.) Also great to see them serving genuinely local beers from St. Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery that other pubs in the town aren’t taking advantage of.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here; Instead of the usual Welsh beef or pork I opted for the Feta and Spinach filo pastry parcel with all the usual trimmings. Everything was beautifully tasty and there was plenty of it. Everything is locally sourced, including drinks. It isn't too large, so you would probably need to book a table during the main season, but it is worth it. We just walked in without a booking in October. Would definitely return.

My family and I dined there last night and the quality of the food and service were exceptional. I had Mackerel and it was one of my favourite meals of all time! Lovely atmosphere and a special spot for sure. Can’t recommend it more highly.

Just the best lobster ever, huge and so tasty. I also had the scallops and sea bass starter.... also divine. Please don't go and then decide not to eat or just order the Carrots!!! Restaurants have bills to pay and you take up tables for people that want to eat. Brilliant staff, INCREDIBLY tolerant, and nice. Thank you.

The best lobster I’ve ever had (and I’ve had more than Jens Marklund).

Wonderful restaurant tucked away in St. David's. They source local food and have a seasonal menu. We tried the catch of the day fish which was excellent. Really friendly staff. Prompt service. The restaurant has a rustic feel and a very nice ambience. Excellent drink selection including some local gins. Can also recommend breakfast here - they serve a very tasty "full Welsh".

My second visit, after a 3 year gap and the quality has not changed! Prices have gone up a fair bit but the food justified the price. Fabulous local sirloin steak cooked to perfection, and a very generous portion!. Lovely bubbly manageress too, made us feel very welcome...

Absolutely outstanding sea bream and Sea bass, cooked to perfection (still juicy) with delicious and interesting flavour combinations of veg and sauce. Perfect chunky chips, light crisp outside and soft in the middle, friendly and efficient service. Not the cheapest meal you will have (30 pds/head) but worth every penny if decide to test yourself. London standard cooking in St David’s
