Just stopped in after a day out at the dinosaur park. Passing through St Clears on the way back home so thought I’d try to see if you did gluten free. I was amazed to hear you did gluten free chips, but to discover you had a gf menu was even better. With my son being coeliac it’s difficult to just grab a takeaway on the way home. My son has enjoyed his gf chips, sausages and curry sauce. 1st chippy we have-come across in this area that do a gf sausage. We will be returning , Thankyou ��
Been several times now at different times of the day and must say have not been disappointed. Beautifully cooked fish and superb chips. The best in St Clears and surrounding areas.
I've had gluten free fish and chips this week from George's. They are were amazing . Recommend you give them a try .loads more to choose from .
Superb fish and chips every time, staff are amazing too,I ordered over the phone for when my family were here, when I went to pick it up I was a few pound short, and instead of me having to drive back up to Pwll Trap, the lovely manager let me call in the next day with the Ballance, I was so thankful. Best Chippy in this area by far.
Lovely fish and chips place clean and spotless staff friendly will definitely be returning soon when I’m down visiting my family in St Clears .
Best tasting chips I have had in a very long time. The batter was incredible too, not to mention the curry.
We will definatly be stopping by again.

Went in to try something from the new gluten free range. As I'm dairy free too I was expecting the usual problems but no, I was given the packaging to check the ingredients myself, a printed price list of their full range for future reference and everything cooked fresh in a separate range. I was also told I could call ahead in future to save the wait. Awesome service. Thank you
Fantastic customer service, the food is absolutely mouth watering and my kids eyes light up whenever they are offered a George's and plates and more often than not cleared and a while family with very full bellies 😁 highly recommended. Plus a special mention to Tom who is always so pleasant and talkative and his memory of who is astounding.
Having George’s fish and chips is a real treat for us, the food is absolutely amazing and always tastes fresh and the portion sizes are bang on. The chips are hands down the best chippy chips I’ve had!
The cleanliness of the shop is fantastic, it’s always tidy and clean.
I’ve met a number of staff during the times I’ve been including the owner himself and they are all incredibly pleasant and well mannered. They all create a well working, balanced environment making the atmosphere there a great experience.
Overall 10/10! It’s a shame I don’t live closer because this place is one of the best!
First time order -Massive portions lovely food, we all enjoyed. Haven't had proper chippy in a long time. Quick delivery and polite and friendly service. Can't go wrong, we'd definitely order again soon.

One of the best fish and chip shops in wales. Lovely chips with the perfect texture, fish is beautiful and fresh too. Very generous portion sizes. A must visit if you are in st clears.
So enjoyed our breakfast at George’s only just managed the medium breakfast my husband had the large 😳. Very tasty, clean, good thick bacon eggs were spot on and it set us up for the day. We will be back weekly for a treat.

Fantastically chip shop always fresh and good size portions with a very clean premises. Staff always very friendly. Would highly recommend!! The best chip shop I know and well worth a visit if you’re in the area or a regular like us!
I made an order for 6 meals over the phone, and went to collect them as agreed half an hour later. Everything was ready exactly on time, hot, crisp and perfectly cooked. Generous portions and great value for money!
