Absolutely loved this place. Nice olde worlde decor. Staff were all excellent and very friendly. Food was so good we went back again a few days later. Reasonabley priced. Really recommend it. Car park.
Great place to visit, food is nice and plenty of choice for kids. Big soft play centre inside but doesn't feel too noisy. Staff very welcoming
Great pub, good food, lovely staff. I had mussels in a cream sauce with bread and chips, good portion size and tasty. Nice beer gardens well kept. Short walk to the most amazing beach which was nicely quiet and had a beach cafe and bar as well. This is on a bus route from StHelier as well as other
Lovely meal outside on a sunny day. The surroundings are beautiful & the food is superb. The pizza-garlic-bread starter was lovely, which we shared, my friend's fish & chips looked great, & I enjoyed the most delicious fish pie I have ever eaten! 😋😀😎👍👏
Great pub with great food. We were originally seated in a section with two large tables. But when the other table was occupied it became very noisy. We spoke to the landlady and she moved us to a quieter spot.
Busy Friday night but the staff were fantastic in getting food and drinks delivered as promptly as possible. Staff at the bar are friendly, food delivered much quicker than expected and the pizza was delicious! Well-priced and would recommend all round
Great location high above the beach with nice views. Plenty of parking. Helpful staff, plenty of outside seating. Great extensive menu and lovely hot food served promptly. We had the fish pie came with separate vegetables and Thai green prawn curry, all very nice.
Very happy with everything. Excellent service, very warm people and lovely and hearty food. A wonderful end to a nice day. Will definitely come again when I revisit Jersey.
Cannot praise this place enough. Had the best tomato and basil soup after so long. Also try the chicken wings. For mains it was wild mushrooms linguine and steak and ale pie. All boxes got ticked under one roof at The Portelet Inn - good service and friendly staff, deliciously tasty food and wonder
Very good food and honest prices. Warm and cozy vibe of a pub.
Beautiful part of the island, one of my favorites. Portelet Inn has changed considerably from it's early start, when it was the seven bars, but still a great place to have a drink or meal.
Food was lovely in very pleasant surroundings; bar staff/servers could do with being a tad more friendlier and attentive; gave us the vibe they didn't want us there.
We booked in advance and had a meal which was excellent . We choose meal from the specials menu salmon filet jersey royal potatoes and brocoli mange tout and asparagus in a butter prawn sauce. The setting was beautiful and we sat outside. The bus service from St Helier 12a was bang on time there and
Take a bus from Liberation station to Noirmont and a stone's throw from the bus stop in the Portlet Inn.. it's a very attractive pub with good food and large variety of wines beers and spirits. If the weather is good which it normally is there is quite an extensive garden in which to sit and relax.
Some very low ceiling so tall people beware :D I only spent time in the beer garden but it was nicely laid out with lots of space. Good selection of drinks and a reasonable price
