Hidden away in the small town of St Boswells is one of the nicest Italian restaurants you could care to dine in. From it's sleek homely decor, to the wonderfully friendly staff this gem of a place is a must for anyone wanting a fabulous meal. Be it a couple looking for a wonderful dining experience or a larger group wanting to meet up for an event and they even cater for larger private parties such as weddings. You'll love the place, you'll love the staff but even more importantly you will absolutely love the food. I will definitely be back for more soon

We wandered in to look at the menu and decided to stay and eat. Lovely, fresh decor and warm friendly staff. They made it nice and easy for us with our young family. Food was really, really good, as was the service. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

A return visit and well worth the drive from Stirling. Hubby had the shepherds pie and said it was the best he ever tasted and I had chicken Milanese. Delicious. Our young waiter was very attentive and good humoured. A very pleasant experience and one we' ll repeat again soon.

Fourth visit, but first in the evening. Food always excellent and a busy Friday night gave the place a real buzz. For sea food lovers, the chowder is a must. Great range of pizzas too.

We stopped here for lunch last weekend. It was a little difficult to find as Google maps took us to a housing estate instead. In the end we found the restaurant. Thankfully, we parked around the corner because there wasn’t much customer parking. The restaurant is surprisingly big with both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are very friendly. I liked the open kitchen. We were served by an Italian gentleman who was great. He was very knowledgeable, experienced and has decent banter. There is plenty to choose from on the menu. Since they have a pizza oven my wife and I both decided to get a pizza. I asked the waiter for recommendation and he said that he would order a margarita, especially since it was our first time here, because you get to really taste the pizza and not get overwhelmed with additional toppings. I took his recommendation and got a margarita and my wife got the meat feast. I expected a very good pizza and it tasted excellent. However, I was surprised how saturated the base was. I lifted the pizza up to have a look at the under carriage and I seen a hole in the pizza base which wasn’t a great sign. It was almost like it wasn’t cooked long enough. My pizza did have a mozzarella ball in the centre which may have been why the pizza was so wet. I still enjoyed my pizza as it was very tasty but I do prefer a crisper base. This pizza was rather sloppy. The toppings would fall off when trying to pick up a slice - a bit messy. My wife found her pizza very good which wasn’t as wet mine but could have been crispier. This is perhaps their style which is fair enough. For dessert my wife got the Dellizle al Limone and I got the ice cream brioche bun. Both desserts were excellent. I couldn’t believe how large mines was but it was very tasty. My wife’s lemon sponge cake was extremely indulgent. Overall, we felt the meal was reasonably priced and it definitely filled a hole.

Fantastic proper Italian food with the best proper Italian hospitality and probably the best service in the UK! We were group of 6 and everyone enjoyed the lunch experience. You do feel that you are being cared and looked after. Bravo!

Lovely food and quick service. Staff were friendly and attentive although they were quite busy. We were travelling up north and didn’t know where to stop for dinner and bumped into this restaurant almost by mistake. Now I think we will be stopping again!

Positives ; * warm, conscientious and friendly service * staff engaged with our children made it very family friendly * excellent tasting and priced food with great portion sizes. * clean and well decorated with tables not too squeezed together ( hate when you can hear your neighbours conversation better than your own) * good varied menu predominantly Italian but with a good range of British Scottish dishes. Negatives * no car park and parking a bit of a problem. * short lunch opening hours Still five stars thou because very minor negatives.

As a native New Yorker, I consider myself a pizza expert, and this is the best pizza I’ve had in nine years in the UK. (I was slightly chastised over my pizza expertise by the Italian waiter, but that’s a whole ‘nother tale.) The crust — which makes or breaks a pizza — *chef’s kiss*

The moment I walked through the door I was greeted by a lovely, warm sensation which helped me get into a good mood, we got seats in the lovely wine room and was such nice interior and aesthetic, it made me feel in a good mood. Staff were really pleasant and polite, setting a better atmosphere in the restaurant for me and my grandparents. Our host was really nice and welcoming and made funny jokes, which put everyone on our table into a better mood. We ordered our food and it came in around 6 minutes, quick service and tried their best to make us feel happy. Starter was delicious, so unique to any other Italian restaurant, I got a garlic bread and it was on a lovely plate, served on a scrumptious sour dough bread. Then I got a margarita pizza, it was all the same, quick service, delicious food and was really nice. We waited a while and finally got given our sweet menu, I ordered a cheesecake and asked for ice cream on the side. Took around 6 minutes again, quick service, delicious end to the meal and really filled me up. If I had to comment on one thing, the floors of the bathroom were quite slippy and i almost slipped once or twice. But all the positives weigh over the one con, the staff were so funny and nice. Overall, a lovely dinner out and definately will return1. 10/10
